I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock,
The noise echoed through my brain.
I sat upright looking out the window..
It was a cold Sunday morning.
I didn't feel like coming out of my blanket,
I hope every teen has this problem in the morning,
just then I heard my mom call me,
"Anaya,comedown. breakfast isready!"
I jumped off my bed with my pink sponge Bob pyjamas and went to my closet,
I shuffled through all my dresses till I found my favorite loose brown pullover and brown jeans.
I looked myself in mirror,my shiny steel braces on my teeth.
"Pathetic!" I said to myself after scanning myself from top to bottom.
It was my first day at my new high school "United high school".
I wore my brand new purple sneakers and went down to have breakfast..
My mom served me with a bowl of cereal.
" Can I get rid of these mom!", I asked her pointing to my ugly braces..
"yes dear but after a year, these are to make your teeth look perfect forever dear!"
I looked with disappointment at my mom.
"your dad is going to drop you off at school Anaya!" said my mom.
I finished my cereal,got up nervous, went near the car,my dad drove me off to high school..
