As Lucas was dragging Edward to the library, Edward thought about Charles.
He was a Capture Target in the game, the cliche princely character, or at least that's how it seems.
But truthfully Charles is more casual than he let's on he's actually quite the joker.
However when he was younger the nobles around him reprimanded him for his behavior.
'A prince should always speak in a formal tone.'
'A prince should never joke around.'
Those were the kinds of things the nobles said to him practically everyday.
He felt pressured to put on a 'perfect prince' persona and eventually it became second nature.
In the game the Heroine got Charles to open up and be himself.
But obviously she won't be doing that here.
But perhaps someone else can.
