I've been reading Harry Potter fanfics for a while and exploring all different kinds. What I notice is many have one or more out of these.
1- Incorrect Grammar, Spelling, Punctuation, etc.
2- Awful Cliches
3- Not enough detail/ too much detail when you don't need it
4- Incorrect use of spells, potions, or magic objects/words
5- Mary Sues
6- Incorrect and Weird personality changes of Canon Characters
And this is just a few. A lot of authors don't even realize it when they have stories like this, and that's what pains me.
This story is just going to be things you should NOT do when writing a fanfic. Hopefully this help any writers improve. I will do reviews of plots and OCs if they are submitted. Sorry if I'm rude or harsh throughout the story.
