Rain, rain, rain
Raining all the day
I don't have school today
Fills my heart I want to play
The boats capsized
What a fun? We applauded
It rain throughout the night
Dams and rivers overflowed
People with their life fled afar
Flood woke me up at midnight
Pulling me by both feet
I was stranded in a plight
Flowed and flowed I down
Caught hold of plank and saved
Cold and hunger struck me hard
Longer I couldn't stand
Woke up in a strange clinic ward
Returned when the water receded
Neighbors came and welcomed me
Looked around for my hut
My hut was washed away
Taking away all what we have
All I have is cried and pray
Oh God! Please help me.
