eri is generally a very chill girl. she's kind, generous, and caring. her outer layer is very soft and bubbly, she loves talking to people and being around others. she's pretty soft spoken in her interactions though, mainly just sitting back and observing, sometimes having this calculating stare as she watches things happen. she's basically the 'big sister' for the boys' volleyball team. however, just because she's bubbly and soft spoken, does not mean that she is a pushover. if someone pushes her too far, she won't scream or cry, she'll literally just shut them out. if anyone is harrassing her or her friends, she will fight back. inside, though, she does harbor a lot of emotions, she's just good and venting them out in acceptable ways.

BACKSTORY: eri had a pretty simple childhood. she lived in tokyo for almost her whole life with her mother and father. her mother was a teacher for fukurodani and her father was a contractor for new buildings. eri attended fukurodani when she entered high school, befriending some of her upperclassmen. a few months into her first year, her father's contracting company suddenly shut down, leaving all of the workers to find her work. her father was lucky to get another contracting job in the miyagi prefecture, and her mother transferred to karasuno high school to teach japanese history, causing eri to transfer was well. she arrived around the time of the tokyo expedition, and quickly befriended the libero for the boys' team.
