not long after, her mother who had seen hwasung then stopped talking at the phone for a moment. "excuse me for a second," she said to the other person on the phone. "yes, what can i help you with dear?" her mother asked her.

hwasung's face lit up upon the question. "i was wondering if mom could help me with my homework," she said with a smile plastered on her face.

"can't you do it on your own? didn't they teach you those at school already? didn't i tell you to listen to the teacher at school?" her mother bombarded her.

"yeah but-"

"no buts hwasung, go to your room, finish them and come down to practice the piano." her mom retorted.

hwasung sigh in disappointment and went back to her room. she then finish her homework after struggling with the hard questions for some time.
