Shinsou x Reader -Kitten

There's a handsome boy who I always see at school and around the neighborhood. His name is Hitoshi Shinsou. He's not much of a talker and I'm a little timid when it comes to boys; boys I especially like. I heard he has an unusual quirk, he can brainwash people. It's so cool, I told him once but he ended up calling me weird.

Since then we haven't spoken much. I wanted to apologize if I offended him but I was being honest when I told him, "Your quirk is so cool! I can think of multiple scenarios a quirk like yours could save so many people! You'll be an awesome hero I know so!"

Sigh...

A few days since then had happened. It was Saturday, I had gone to the park with some friends. We had a lovely picnic with little sandwiches and cake. I was very happy when it came to food. Well all in all today had been a great day until we all started to go our separate ways.

There was a dog nearby. A cute one indeed. But oh so troublesome and nosy! He kept staring at me. Well not me but my hand. I shook my head and started walking.

However, the moment I started to hear the dog's barking getting louder and louder, fear started consuming me. I took the first course of action and ran as fast as I could until I stumbled across a tall tree. The middle size dog had me cornered. Of all days why did I have to get chased by a dog!?!? Well I blame this sandwich, but no way in hell was I going to give it to him, I'm hungry!

I quickly climbed the tree, to my terrible luck, my sandwich fell. What a tragedy!!! Well come to think of it better that falling and not me right? Well once the hungry dog got the sandwich he ran off. Good no? NO! How the heck am I supposed to get down now??!

It's funny, I'm wanting to be a hero yet here I am with a fear of heights! This is so embarrassing. "Stupid dog!" I shouted.

"Heh, I've been called many things in life but never that." said a familiar masculine voice.

Huh??! I slightly looked down and saw... Shinsou???! OMG and he thinks I called him a stupid dog!? "NO! I didn't—UGHH! I mean, I wasn't talking to you!! I was talking to that dog over there walking, you see him? He's that one with chubby cheeks!"

He chuckled a bit, "Uh-okay? So you talk to dogs?"

I wanted to facepalm but doing that meant I needed to let go and I wasn't going to risk that. "I don't." I sighed, "It's complicated." If I said anymore words he'll really think I'm a weirdo.

"Right, so what are you doing there? I knew you were weird but I didn't think you were afraid of dogs. What are you a cat or something?"

"That's so not it! And hey I'm no cat. Just because cats get stuck on trees doesn't mean I'm a cat!" I pouted. "For your information that dog wanted my sandwich and chased me up here! But now I'm stuck."

"Uh-huh, sure whatever you say Kitten." He smirked.

"Kitten?!? Instead of calling me that help me get down!"

He sighed tiredly, "You seem fine Kitten, well maybe I wouldn't keep my legs positioned that way, gives people a nice view up your skirt."

"Stop looking you perv!" I panicked.

"Whatever, weirdo I'm leaving." He said turning around.

"Ah no! Please don't leave!" I began to sniffle. "I-I-I'm afraid of heights. I can't get down."

I had shut my eyes tight. That's when I heard him say hesitantly, "Don't worry... um lets see, do you trust me?"

I wasn't sure where he was going with asking that but I nodded and rapidly said, "Yes I do Shinsou! I trust you a lot, I really—"

My mind suddenly felt foggy, it was so weird, hard to explain, I could distantly hear a voice, my body was moving on its own. It was like that for a minute or so. One moment I was up the tree the next I was blinking and my feet were on the ground, and Shinsou, my purple haired crush was in front of me.

"D-d-did you use your quirk on me?" I asked him dumfounded.

There was a bit of uncomfortableness in his eyes, his body was a bit stiff as if answering me would make me mad at him or something. "Y-yes."

The tears started falling out my eyes and he panicked. I threw my arms around him and hugged him tightly, "Thank you so much! I thought I was going to die up there! You saved me! Your quirk is awesome! You're my hero! My prince charming saving me from that tree tower!"

"Y-your hero?" he stated a bit shaken.

I nodded as looked at him with my teary eyes. "I don't know if you believe me or not but it's true what I said back then and now, I really like your quirk it's amazing. And I like it even more now since you saved me with it."

A tiny blush crossed his cheeks. "You're such a weird girl." He wiped my tears away with his finger.

"Am I really a weirdo? Well maybe I mean I should've just shared my food with the dog and um..." I panicked and he chuckled.

"Yeah, you're definitely a weirdo but that's what I like about you, Kitten." He smiled at me.

"HUH!!!? Y-y-you like me!?"

"Yeah."

"Good because I like you too!"

"Oh really? I had no idea?" he sarcastically said.

"Hey!" I pouted and he pulled me in, capturing my lips with his.

Shinsou grabbed my hand and said, "Come on Kitten, let's go get you some food surely you're hungry."

I smiled back at Shinsou, he grinned back as we walked down the street. My heart felt content as I felt his hand holding mine. Maybe being called Kitten wasn't going to be so bad after all.
