Chapter Twenty Five - Part Two

Nol's POV

"Hoy, Seunghun, tulungan mo kami dito." Sigang sabi ni Ryujin at no choice naman si Seunghun kung 'di sumunod. I closed my eyes and sighed.

"Hey, at least the dishes turn out to be good." Jaem said and I deadpan which made him laugh as if yun naman ang problema ko ngayon, no, actually, kanina pa. Talagang pumatol na si Hana and I'm still hoping that it will change once we start eating.

"Mukha ba yun yung concern ko?" I ask him and he laughs more.

"'Di mo naman sinabi na seloso yang kaibigan mo, edi sana mas inasar ko pa." He said and my eyes widened in disbelief!

"You're not making it any better!" Natatawa kong sabi because the way he said it is way too funny. "Yang utak niyo nila Hana, masyadong connected." I said while shaking my head in feigned disapproval.

Well, I was indeed frustrated just earlier when Hana entered the kitchen but watching them banter kind of relieves it at the same time? Tangina, indecisive ka, girl? Gaga, you legit called Jaem as Nana ulit, malamang nakisali ka na rin.

Hun walks back to get the curry Jaem cooked. Jaem licks his lips teasingly and then looks at me, I mouthed a gago ka.

But since, eto na nga, I sighed, "Dapat sinolo na lang talaga kita, Jaem." I said and he covered his mouth to stifle a ridiculous laugh only to let out a light and fun one, as if going with the flow lang.

"Tangina, hinay! Muntikan mo na mabuhos sakin sabaw!" Sigaw ni Suk and napanganga ako out of disbelief and concern sa kuya ko! Napahawak pa ako sa nuo ko while Jaem stammered, not knowing if he should laugh or what.

I just shake my head. "Ryujin, palag." I heard Hana say.

"Hana..." Gon hyung trailed off, obviously tired when Hana is just starting. I motioned Jaem for us to go na sa sala and I have to try my best to ignore Ryujin's smirk while looking at the two of us.

Sitting arrangement:

Ryujin - Suk - Seunghun
Gon Nol
Hana - Hyunjin - Jaemin

"Alright! What are these dishes?" Gon hyung asked and I was about to answer, "Let our guest speak." Jaemin's eyes widened while Ryujin, Hana, and Suk cheered on him, parang mga tanga.

"Let's go, Drama King, Na Jaemin." Hana said at nag-apir pa sila ni Ryujin dahil don.

"Ah, I'm embarrassed." He said shortly but he cleared his throat and sit properly. "The first pasta is a vegan creamy mushroom pasta, the second is lasagna which is Nol's favorite cooked by Seunghun,"

Gon hyung, Suk, Ryujin, and Hana feigned a cough and I glared at Jaem who just smiled at me, so I motioned him to continue, "The third one is a spicy rosé penne, a combination of a white and red sauce pasta. Then, last is a classic butter chicken curry."

Gon hyung nodded approvingly so we all clapped for Jaem malamang except kay Seunghun and Hyunjin.

"Tatlo na pasta ah, bat may rice meal pa tayo?" Hyunsuk asked, confused, at bago ko pa ma-explain,

"Kasi gusto ko." Hana rebutted and Gon hyung sighed out of sudden fatigue.

"Sabi ko nga po, sorry po." Suk said while lowering his head, natawa naman ako saka ko sinabi na it's one of our back-up meals, pero 'di ko lang alam kung bakit in-insist ni Jaem na curry eh may iba pa naman kaming suggestions.
