Chapter Nine - Part Two

Hyunjin's POV

Matagal-tagal pa bago namin kelanganin na pumunta mismo sa UST para sa ibang requirements so we invited Hana and the others to spend their summer here.

Buti na lang, napag-planuhan na yon nila Gon. Kuya Mino offered for them to stay at their hotel but the four, including Jisung, already agreed to stay at Changbin's place habang sila Seunghun at kuya Seunghoon sa amin.

I got really happy that even Jisung decided to come, si kuya Minho lang pala katapat niyan so that he'd come out of his cave in QC.

As usual, we're hanging around Nol's place to also wait for their arrival. Napansin ko na lagi niyang bumakambibig si Seunghun, but since I don't want to ruin the mood, hinayaan ko na lang.

Well, I really couldn't blame here since sila ring tatlo nila Ryujin ang madalas na nakakapag-usap, but there are times wherein it's just her and Seunghun.

Kahit naman gusto ko maki-sali minsan, I'm just really tired with the practices in our dance club, isa pa, it's more fun if the five of us are complete eh bihira lang din sumali si Hana sa mga video calls.

"Magulang ata sating lima sila ni Seunghun eh." Sabi ko at natawa kaming dalawa ni Ryujin while Nol mocks us by making face.

"Oh shit! Diba yan yung biro ni Hana dati sa summer program?" My eyes widened then the two of us clapped hands. "Nakakakita pala ng future si Hana." Pagbibiro pa ni Ryujin and we laughed more while Nol silently glares.

"By the way, hindi sainyo mags-stay si Jisung?" She asks.

"Nako, we still prepared just in case dahil baka gusto rin magsama nung dalawang yon." Ryujin answered and Nol nodded. Lagi kasing nakkwento ni kuya Minho si Jisung kay Ryujin or whenever we ask Seunghun about Hana's whereabouts, she's often with the two.

I really think it's cute because Ryujin mentioned that it's her first time to see kuya Minho to have a really close friend while Hana once shared that Jisung is becoming more open.

"Just like you and Seunghun." Ryujin said which made me nod but Nol confused. "Ang close niyo kaya."

"Wow, kayo ni Hyunjin, hindi?" She asks so we look at her deadpan as if saying that's normal between Ryujin and I dahil ilang taon na kaming mag-kaibigan, she's literally my best friend so it really isn't something new.

Nol pouted at hindi na lang umimik. "But it's a good thing 'di ka nadadala sa mga biro namin?" I asked sincerely, I don't want the two to grow awkward lalo na't magkakaibigan kami.

She shakes her head, "Biro lang naman and as if I don't do the same." She answers so I just smiled, titigil naman kami once she tells us if she is no longer comfortable with it, of course we'd choose what she feels over our jokes, 'di naman kami ganon ka-gago.

"Eh ikaw?" Ryujin suddenly asks me so I was startled. "When we tease you to Hana?"

Nol looks at me, anticipating my answer and I got a bit pressured, napakamot ako sa batok, "Okay lang naman, just like what Nol said, it's just a joke." Ryujin smirks so I furrowed my eyebrows while looking at her, "Ano na naman?"

"Parang ilang ka eh." Tinignan ko pa muna mabuti ang mukha niya if she's kidding around or not, and of course she isn't dahil medyo seryoso yung aura naming tatlo because of the topic.

I sighed, "Not really, napapaisip lang ako dati na maybe she really isn't replying because of me." I answered because I really thought the situation was like that since she really doesn't chat with us often.

I sometimes feel guilty dahil baka siya ang naiilang sakin because they're teasing us whenever I get excited over her being online dahil nga bihira siya mag-phone. "But yeah, sabi naman ni Seunghun 'di siya pala-check ng cp niya."

They nodded, "She'll speak up naman about it." Nol said which is true, also especially when she can't do something, she tells us immediately no matter how much we convince her. "How about you?" She asks Ryujin with a hint of teasing in her voice and smirk.

I smiled because Ryujin's blush slowly grows, mukhang tinamaan na talaga kay Hyunsuk because whenever we sleepover here, she turns more quiet and para bang walang gana masyado.

"Anong ako?"

"Ulol, Ryujin, Nol already told us, okay?" I said which made her eyes go wide, so Nol immediately hides behind my back. I laugh, "Wala naman kasing masama, tsaka hoy, kapatid 'to." Sabi ko habang kunwari pino-protektahan si Nol.

Umirap lang siya samin, "Nawi-weird-uhan lang ako." She simply said so we just nodded, pero naramdaman ko namang may gustong sabihin si Nol so I motioned her to just say it.

"Don't worry, 'di naman gago kapatid ko." I suppressed a laugh as Ryujin got even more shy, but we didn't tease her about it because it's clear she's not used to this kind of topic. "Genuine question, what if he asks you out?"

"Nako, magpapa-ligaw 'to." I said and Ryujin nodded while smiling. She told me way back na gusto niyang nasusuyo and I never tease her about because I know I'll be the first one to punch the guy who will make her cry.

Ryujin is the sister I never have kaya sa kanya ako pinaka-clingy at malambing. So I couldn't really blame the people who speculates if there's something more between us just because they aren't used to the fact I'm naturally affectionate.

Buti at hindi rin issue yon kay Ryujin because she knows my intention and she understands me. She also doesn't care about other people's gossips about us dahil wala naman talagang katuturan yon, and it never really last long because she confronts them too.

That's why I was happy to know that Hana is also clingy to her friends during the time that the five of us weren't close yet, nakwento rin sakin ni Seunghun na once naging close mo siya, wala ka na kawala.

Point is, pati siya walang pakeelam sa sasabihin ng tao especially majority of her friends are of the opposite gender bago pa sila maging close nila Nol at Ryujin. I really feel comforted, knowing and feeling that there's nothing wrong with being affectionate to your friends no matter the gender.

Speaking of, kuya Mino called us dahil kararating lang nilang lahat sa bahay.

"Guys, sleepover kayo samin nila Hyunjin, kakauwi lang kasi nila tita." Kuya Donghyuk said while pointing me. Hindi ko kasi alam kung paano ko sisimulan and I don't know, I suddenly got shy because I'm not used to it.

Pero sinenyasan pa rin ako ni kuya for me to continue, "Nakkwento ko kasi kayo kela mommy and they want to meet you all." Natouch naman sila and I got more flustered, I was used to inviting only Nol and Ryujin sa bahay namin.

Madalas din kasi wala sila mommy because of their business abroad kaya en grande sila sa paraan ng pagbawi.

"Overnight swimming, it is." Kuya Mino said as we laugh, we have two swimming pools kaya lahat kami kasya. Since everyone agrees, we started planning as to the overnight swimming's actual date and time.

We are all 17 and it's a good thing na malawak-lawak ang kwarto namin ni kuya Donghyuk and we also have a guest room so having six sleep per room will work. Sinuggest ko naman yon kay kuya at uma-agree siya.

Kinuha pa niya drawing board nila kuya Mino and listed all of our names. "Guys, we have three rooms naman except for the room of Hyunjin's parents, kaya dalawa ang mag-anim at isa ang mag-lima. Sino-sino? So that we can fix the rooms later."

"Basta kaming apat, sa iisang kwarto." Hyunsuk said at nilagay naman ni kuya Donghyuk mga pangalan nila sa may kwarto niya. Napatingin si Hyunsuk samin saka nagsalita ulit, "Changbin, Rae, okay lang, magkasama tayong anim?" The two nodded.

"Oh, the two of us will be in Hyunjin's room." Sabi ni kuya, kuya Yunhyeong told him that the three of them including Jisung will be in the same room kaya sinulat yon ni kuya, so the guest room ay matic kanila Hana at Seunghun.

We continue listing down as to what foods to eat and games we can do, mostly ang mga kuya ang nag-iisip at nags-suggest kami.
