Chapter Twelve - Part Two

Ryujin's POV

At totoo nga ang sinabi nila kuya Gon na grabe ang pagbibigay ng mga gawain kada subject, they demand too much! Nab-bwisit ako sa essay na I'm doing so I decided to rant to Hyunsuk first.

I couldn't help but to smile and blush with his last message, at bago pa lumala, nag-paalam na ako dahil baka isantabi ko 'tong punyetang essay na 'to at makipag-landian na lang kay Hyunsuk buong magdamag.

We got into a habit to text each other when we are pissed off due to the workload we have pero dapat hindi tumagal because I myself block him when our conversation passes five minutes.

Nung una, nahirapan kami mag-cope nila Nol dahil nabigla kami sa bago ng sistema, but thankfully we help each other out, Suk's circle of friends also help us whenever they can so at the very least, nale-lessen stress namin.

"Ryujin, I really don't get the question." Nagulat ako because Hyunjin entered my room so suddenly, buti patapos na ako sa essay kaya I told him to come near me.

"Tungkol san ba ulit yan?" He handed me the paper and when I read it, it's about foreign cultures, "Gaga, ask Hana about these stuff!"

"Eh, si Seunghun tinutulungan niya diyan ngayon eh! Seunghun texted me earlier about it." I repressed a laugh because at his tall height, he's like a child when complaining, pati katawan ginagamit para i-express yung frustration niya.

"Edi umupo ka muna sa isang tabi, ayusin ko lang 'tong essay." I said which made him smile while hugging me real tight and kung ano-anong mga papuring lumalabas sa bibig niya.

Dumiretso siya sa kama pero nagulat naman ako dahil knockout ang gago, tulog talaga! I shake my head while I get started with his homework.

Few weeks later...

Vinideo call namin ni Nol si Seunghun because we have a quiz in General Mathematics the next day, even if I want to laugh dahil nagmistulang Khan Academy ang ginagawa namin because Seunghun is tutoring us, nag-seryoso na lang ako.

"Ha? I thought it should be positive?" I heard Hana ask dahil kela Seunghun siya matutulog ngayong gabi para nga magpaturo rin.

"Oo nga, but since you transposed it again, negative na siya." At dahil don, we understood the last topic for the quiz, para kaming mga tanga na tumatawa because the equation looks so simple.

"Ano, nakaraos din kayo?" Hyung asks as I laugh more because he's literally sitting on the couch while listening to us.

"Buti na lang talaga tropa kita, no?" Hana said which made Nol and I laugh while Seunghun sighs.

"Bat 'di ka kasi kay Gon nagpapaturo as usual?" He asks.

"Alam mo namang nangta-taboy yon pag exams na! And it's midterms na no!" She answers, Seunghun makes face while fixing the stuff he used to teach us.

"Oo potek, his door is always locked kaya ako na mismo nagdadala ng pagkain don." Pangsusumbat ni Nol na ikinangiti ko. Ganto na rin kasi ang naging routine naming lima, if we can't meet up which is lagi naman, video calls are our solution.

We even made a separate GC meant for acads only; mga files, mga sagot, step-by-step tutorial, basta walang halong kalokohan.

Hyunjin sits beside me, "Musta?"

"Eto, 'di privileged tulad mo." Sagot ni Nol at umirap lang si Hyunjin kaya natawa kami, he just woke up since he stayed up until early in the morning to finish the short video midterm requirement for one of his subjects.

"Wow, good morning po." Hana jokes which made us laugh more because Hyunjin looks like he's just processing his waking up now that it's evening. "Buti nataong wala kayong pasok?" He nodded.

"Dapat lang, kingina, daming arte non sa video." He said pertaining to his teacher. "I'll eat first." Sabi niya at dumiretso sa kusina. Nol also told us she needs to rest so we ended the video call.

Nol's POV

Ang wrong move when I said I needed to rest because I still want to talk. I was about to chat Ryujin but I heard that Hyunsuk is already talking with her.

Landi pota?

I can't even disturb Hyunjin because he just woke up so I called Seunghun. "Hello?"

"You think the five of us can hang out after midterms? Hindi no?" I answered my own question which made him laugh. "Mr. Kim, 'di po ako nagjo-joke." At dahil don, he laughed more.

"Wow? Mr. Kim? Ang formal ha." He said which made me smile. "Hmm, I think we can see each other pag maluwag-luwag pa sa Finals dahil saka lang sila nangta-tambak pag exams eh." I laughed because it's true, it was just chill after prelims but when it was exam week, sandamakmak ang binigay samin.

So for sure it will be like that after midterms, "Gusto ko mag-outing." I groaned which made him laugh.

"Nasa Manila po tayo, ha?" Sabi niya at napikon naman ako, but since it looks like he really wouldn't do any more activities, nag-usap na lang kami buong magdamag. Mas lalo ko tuloy silang na-miss because even if we are physically near each other, we really couldn't meet up frequently.

"Ah, matutulog ka na ba?" I heard Seunghun ask, I didn't notice that our conversation was this long since it's already 9PM. Rinig ko namang sinabi ni Hana na sumakit ulo niya. "Sige, teka lang, Nol. Dito ka na lang sa kama, I'll just sleep at kuya's room."

I think Seunghun walks out of his room, "Tabi ba dapat kayo?" I asked.

"Hm? Oo, may iba pa sana siyang ipapaturo." I hummed as an answer, bigla wala akong masabi, "Bakit? Selos ka?"

I blushed and I even gaped because I can clearly imagine his face with a proud smirk plastered! "Hoy! Dahan dahan sa paglaki ng pride just because we needed you for our quiz!" Bwisit na sabi ko, nakakairita!

"Dami namang sinabi." He kids around so I just cuss him dahil wala na akong masumbat pa. Nag-asaran pa kami hanggang sa nakaramdam na siya ng antok kaya nagpaalam na siya.

He ended the call but I still can't sleep, bumaba muna ako sa kusina and I saw Gon hyung currently eating, "Oh? Anlaki ng ngiti mo?"

Naramdaman ko naman yon so I immediately pinch myself. Bat ako na-conscious sa sarili kong kuya?

"Wala." Simpleng sagot ko at hinayaan niya na lang ako.
