—(Y/n) POV—

Catra has been having nightmares and it starts out with Catra letting go of me and trashing around in bed and I hold her hand and she stops and then I wrap my arm around her waist and she calms down

Tonight was worse, I didn't know what she was having a nightmare about and I did the usual thing. I held her hand but her nails dug into my hand and I let go and she kicks me off the bed

"Fuck" I whisper

It was almost morning so I try to wake her up

"Catra wake up" I say

—3rd person POV—

In Catras nightmares she saw (Y/n) on the ground and Adora was standing over her and looking at her body before looking at Catra

"You killed her" Adora says

—(Y/n) POV—

Catra was crying with her eyes closed and I had to wake her up because she was thrashing around whimpering

I shake her shoulders gently trying to wake her up

"Catra come on please wake up" I say

Catra wakes up and screams and sees me and claws my face and I yelp slightly and crawl back

"(Y/N) STOP FUCKING DOING THAT" Catra yells

"I-I'm sorry" I say

I didn't even notice that Emily was here and some how got in

Catra jumps back and scratches Emily

"Stay away from me" Catra says

Emily walks off and then Catra looks at me and I flinch and I get up and I go get a bandaid to put on my face

Catra walks next to me and turns me around so I'm facing her and she looks scary even with her pjs on and she looks at the cuts on my face

"Catra you were having a nightmare and I wanted to get you out of it" I say

"What do you know about nightmares and what I was having a nightmare about?" Catra angrily asks

"I don't know what you were having a nightmare about, but I know what it is to have one. It's scary and I just wanted to help you-" I say

"Yeah, thanks whatever" Catra says and looks away

Catra looks at me again and I flinch and she walks behind me and hugs me from behind

"Stop waking me up or you'll end up with more scratches" Catra says and then lets go of me

"I-I'm s-sorry" I stutter

"Well I'm introducing Double Trouble to Hordak today and my plan so get ready" Catra orders

I wear the same clothes to bed because I don't feel comfortable changing around Catra

So I brush my hair and Catra gets in her clothes and walks over to me and grabs my hand with the hair brush and uses my arm to brush her own hair

"What are you doing?" I ask

"Just brush it" Catra orders

She lets go of my arm and I brush her long hair and she purrs the entire time and we head to Hordaks sanctum and we catch up with Double Trouble on the way

"Oh meow, did you get any rest kitten?" Double Trouble asks

"It doesn't matter and I need you to do something for me" Catra says
