Overlooked

Dawn approaches

The glass becomes a portal to another realm

The rays become fingertips

Reaching toward their goal

The endless expanse lets loose breaths

That are sometimes calm

Sometimes rough

To guide the clouds like shepherds

Would a flock of sheep

That are sometimes obedient

Sometimes rebellious

As they make their journey

Across many lands

That are sometimes pleasant

Sometimes hostile

But the light continues upward

Growing in intensity

A miracle occurs

That is sometimes appreciated

But many times overlooked
