The location of the Eternity flower was in an isolated spring, deep in the swamp. Roxanne wore hot pink rainboots and her black raincoat, knowing that she would need them. She spotted the Eternity Flower on the other side of the spring.
As she went around it, a ghost appeared in front of her. It looked like a pale blue, humanoid-shaped mist.
"Clara?" it asked, its voice otherworldly.
"I'm not Clara, I'm Roxy."
Its sky-blue eyes were blank.
"You must be Clara's reincarnation."
"I mean...I might be..."
"Stay with me, please. I don't want to lose you."
It pulled at Roxanne's heartstrings.
"I...I think I can stay with you. I just need to get the petals of the Eternity Flower."
The ghost stepped aside, allowing her to pick the petals of the Eternity Flower.
The ghost tapped her shoulder. "Can I ask you something?"
"OK, what is it?"
"To ensure that we can be together, you'll have to jump into the spring."
Roxanne was in disbelief.
"What? But I'm not ready to leave, not so soon..."
"But think it over first, OK? If you come back here, we'll talk it over."
Roxanne left, and she never came back. Not as if she had another chance to.
At home, she made the love potion, a family recipe.
Diamond Jim looked at her, stern.
"This is just insurance! It doesn't mean I'll have to use it."
Diamond Jim cawed, his expression hardening.
"Well...Madelina will be OK! She'll be perfectly fine! I won't hurt her!"
Diamond Jim flew away. He knew how this would end.

A single dove feather
A tablespoon of butterfly pheromones
Rosewater
The petals from the Eternity Flower. This does the heavy lifting
A lock of your own hair (double assurance/immunity for Roxanne)
Chocolate sauce
A lock of the target's hair
Pine scent to attract Madelina
Strawberry to mask suspicion and add flavor
Boil for 30 minutes and chill in the freezer for the next 2 hours
