"I'm not gonna make it! I'm gonna die, baby," Daniel whined
Claudia rolled her eyes at Daniel, such a drama king.
"Call the priest!" He yelled once more
Daniel had a fever and he was going in hysterics. He had a killer headache, he felt like Tarzan was pounding on his skull. His face felt like it was being held in front of molten lava.
"Claudiaaaa," Daniel called
Claudia was dressed for work and was about to head to her clinic when Daniel suddenly acted up, she thought this was one of those moments when he didn't want her to leave.
"Boo, you baby, man up!" Claudia chuckled
"Claudia, please don't leave," Daniel said in a whisper
Claudia felt her heart strings being tugged as she went over to her whining husband.
She was about to kiss him goodbye when she could feel the heat radiating from his skin.
"You're so hot!" Claudia said
"Yes, yes, I am," Daniel said, winking at her
"Not like that, dumbass!" Claudia said
Daniel feigned hurt.
"You swore at me! That's what you think of me? dim-witted buttocks!?" He said
"Boo, you baby, man up!" Claudia said
"I guess I'll call in absent today," she said
"Yes!" Daniel said, fist bumping into the air
Afterwards, he threw a coughing fit.
Claudia grabbed the needed things for his illness. After he drank some chicken soup, he asked her a favor.
"Claudiaaa," He said
"Hm?"
"Sing me a lullaby," he said wearily
Claudia visibly paled, singing was not her forté. Oh, it wasn't. So wasn't.
Daniel looked at her with expecting eyes, he looked adorable.
"Don't give me that look!"
"What ever do you mean?" He said childishly
"I'm not singing you a song!"
Daniel like this child he is inside, pouted and crossed his arms, looking away from Claudia.
"Aw, don't be like that!"
"Fine!"
Reluctantly, Claudia began singing Blackbird.
After she finished, Daniel guffawed and it was Claudia's turn to pout.
"Okay, baby, I now realized your voice is worse than how I feel," he joked
Claudia stood up from the bed but was quickly pulled back by Daniel.
"Love you," he whispered in her ear.
