Chapter 2

"Bye," after the call I sighed heavily, I don't want Kaye to be mad at our parents because of me.  Mahirap na dahil baka may gawin sila kay Kaye. Mas okay na sa akin na ako nalang.  

The reason behind all their hate is because of my true mom. Anak ako sa labas ni dad at simula noong namatay si mommy noong naipanganak ako ay kinuha na ako ni dad.  Eversince then, my life is fucked up, well not really.  Eventhough they've been hard on me , I still have my friends behind me. Kahit kasama sa desisyon ko noon ang lumayas ay hindi ko pa rin itinuloy dahil kay Kaye. Natatakot ako na sa oras na umalis ako siya naman ang mapag-buntunan ng galit ni dad. I know they love her but we never know when hell would break loose. 

Now that I have a job atleast I have one thing to be proud of.  I glanced at my room, it is not that big but not bad either. The theme of my room is black with a touch of gold, may isang banyo ako rito at isa sa labas. May walk in closet din ako pero puro sapatos ang naandon dahil mahilig akong mangolekta ng sapatos.  These are the fruit of my savings and a little help from my sister.  I have a thing or two with sentimental value that's why I never bring a woman in here.

Morning came and I start my daily rituals by taking a bath. I wear my long sleeve uniform and brown pants same with my gold watch to match my outfit.
I noticed my hair is kinda messy so I grabbed the wax and put a little bit on my hair to make it look presentable.  

After all that I went to the kitchen to cook my breakfast. I always eat heavy meals in the morning that's why waking up early became a thing for me since I have to cook.  Bacon, eggs and fried rice is the food for today.   Nanuod lang ako ng balita habang kumakain pagkatapos noon ay nagsipilyo na ako at umalis ng condo.

When I arrive at the site I step out of my car and look at the overview of the house. Ginigiba na siya ngayon kaya may panahon pa ako para irecheck ang mga gagamitin naming materyales. Ayoko namang pumalpak ang unang project ko.

Nakaparada ako sa grahe nila, malaki ang bahay sobrang lawak din ng garden at grahe mayroon pa nga silang guest house pero bagong gawa iyon kaya hindi na kailangang ayusin. Huminga ako ng malalim at dinama ang simoy ng hangin na humahampas sa mukha ko nang mahagip ng paningin ko si Sienna.

Naka-upo lang siya sa bench at naka-earphone nakikinig siguro ng kanta. Lumapit ako at umupo sa tabi niya. Lumingon siya sa akin bago nagsalita.

"Engineer?"

"Hey, how do you know its me." I said smiling.

"I may be blind but I do smell your scent." Tinanggal niya ang earphone sa tenga niya at medyo humarap sa akin at tipid na ngumiti.

"Really? Mabango ba ako?" Pasimple kong sininghot ang sarili ko, hindi ko maalala kung nakapaglagay ba ako ng pabango kanina.

"Uhm oo." Hinawakan niya ang dulo ng suot niyang sweater na tila'y nahihiya.

I grinned at what she said, ang bango ko raw. "Thank you, normal na sa'kin 'to."

"Talaga ba?" Natawa siya sa sinabi ko kaya napatawa nalang din ako. She is wearing a navy blue sweater paired with  white shorts, I also noticed a puppy with a leash sleeping under the bench I think it's a golden retriever.

"Ang cute ng aso mo, anong pangalan?"

"Daisy" She simply answered.  Typical pet name of girls. Tahimik lang siya at halatang ayaw ako kausapin.

"By the way what song are you listening to?" Pangungulit ko sa kanya.

"Actually I'm listening to an audio book."
