Chapter 15

"W-what?"

"I-i like you, Yuta."

I stared at her in shock.

"A-are you serious?"

Sana smiled at me sadly and nodded.

"Noona, don't you know I have a girlfriend?"

She looked at me with anger in her eyes.

"Did you already forget?" She said raising one of her eyebrows.

"I'm sorry noona but I love someone else. You were too late."

Sana scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Let's see about that."

Sana walked away from me holding her anger.

Sana POV

Argh. I can't believe it. I've been gone for 5 years and he's not loyal to me.

I stepped into my dorm and banged the door behind me. I know people think of me as the cute one but that's just how I look like.

"Why are you mad again?" Nayeon asked.

"He rejected me unnie."

"Jinjja? Wow. He doesn't remember the promise?"

"He's got a girlfriend."

"Oh yeah,Sakura from IZ*ONE. He's dating her. Her sisters are big fans of you. They're japanese too."

"Well I don't like her."

"He's got a girlfriend Sana, leave him be."

"He's not married yet, people can divorce too."

"What about that other guy?"

• Flashback •

Author POV

"Yuta! Come back here!" Sana said while giggling.

The two were chasing each other in the hallway of their school. They were in 8th grade at the time.

Sana was struggling to find Yuta. She kept on running and bumped into someone.

"Ouch." She said.

"Sorry about that let me help you."

The boy helped Sana stand up and they talked for a bit.

"Oh, I have to go now. Could you tell me your name?"

"Oh, my name's Mark."

"Nice to meet you Mark, i'll see you some other time."

Sana walked away to find Yuta again.

"Mark Tuan." He muttered.

• Another flashback •

"Yuta, I like you."

"I do too, Sana."

"I'm going to move."

"What?!"

"Please promise me something Yuta."

"W-what is it?"

"Promise me that when we meet again, you and I will be together, again."

"I will."

• End of flashback •

"He promised me." Sana stuttered.

Yuta POV

I remembered the promise.

I had broken it. But she was too late. So many years have passed and my feelings have changed.

It felt like she was never a part of my life. I shook my head in frustration and told Sakura that I would go to her dorm.

At the dorm...

"Yuta? What's wrong?" Sakura asked.

"I met up with a friend that i have not seen for a long time."

"Who?"

"That's not important right now. I want to say sorry to her but I don't feel like i'm wrong."

"A girl huh?"

"Don't be jealous Sakura. You know i'll love you forever." I said.

Then I kissed her.

"Hmph. Well, go and apologize. I don't care why. Just let me go with you."

"Ok, let's meet up with her at a umm... barbeque restaurant?"

"Sure. But when?"

"Tomorrow night."

Just as I said, Sana, Sakura and I met up at a barbeque restaurant. Sakura was surprised to see Sana as one of Yuta's friends.

Sakura seemed like a big fan of Sana too but all Sana did was give glares at her when she wasn't looking.

It was very awkward till I apologized.

"I'm sorry Sana. But I love Sakura.

"Wait what?" Sakura blurted out.

"I guess you didn't tell her huh?"

Sakura looked confused and turned her head to sana.

"I love you." I whispered to Sakura.

"Yuta and I made a promise that we would be together after I came back."

"You were too late. You left me for more than 5 years! What did you expect?"

"Well i stayed loyal to you. Yet you decide to date some other girl who's not as good as I am."

"Sana!" I shouted angrily.

"I'm speaking facts. Deal with it sweetheart."

Sakura sat there staring at Sana.

"Let's go Yuta. I'll pay the bill."

Sakura grabbed my hand and went straight to the cashier. She payed for the meal and we both walked out of the restaurant leaving Sana alone.

"Whatever, i still have food." Sana thought.

Sakura walked away while holding my hand. She looked angry.

"Sakura..."

"Ugh!" She said frustrated

"I'm sorry about that."

"It's not your fault."

I hugged her tightly and told her not to listen to Sana's words.

"That promise." She mumbled.

"I broke that promise but I only love you."

She hugged me tighter and I looked up at the night sky. Shooting stars passed by and i looked at the shining moon.

The next day, I was a little stressed.

I just imagined what sana could do. She might become like Sorn.

Sakura POV

Yuta had invited me to a place that I have never been to before.

It's a place where he relieves his stress. He has never done anything bad in this place and he comes here not so often.

And that place is the one and only....

Club. ( no not the mickey mouse club)
