Elizabeth is a very smart girl who just try to fit in the world. Ever since she was a little girl there has been a lot of pressure on her to be the best at everything and not look back on other people. At 11, she went through early inheritance.
She has been abused since her birth. Her father was depressed and had a lot of overuse of prescribed medication, which you became aggressive with, towards her mother. He never beat Elizabeth because she was his one and only child, his light in the dark. It made him more demanding of her. He didn't beat her a lot though, when she brought a bad grade from some of his preferred subjects at school known worse than an A, it was wrong. When it happened by accident, God forbid, he would ask her:'Do you want to end up like your mother- To be so stupid and useless and good for nothing? If you want to continue to be my daughter then you have to prove you can do it!'The worst part of it all was that both her father hated his wife and he started seeing his daughter as an adult using her as a means to cause arguments with Elizabeth's mother. Quite often, he would somehow make her cry, only to be able to hug and whisper nice things to her afterwards. ( you could see it as the beginning of sexual abuse, although sexual intercourse never happened, it was pretty traumatic for a little girl, but there were some indications.
Her mother, on the other hand, used to be very nice, but she couldn't handle the pressure that came from her husband and started taking it out on her little daughter. She was jealous that her husband was giving all his attention to Elizabeth. There were moments when she was very nice to Elizabeth, but they were very unique. Elizabeth wasn't beaten by her father, but she was by her mother every time for every crap, because for the things Elizabeth was supposed to get punishment from her father, that he has never done it. Instead he has beaten her mom. That's how her mother got it. And then she was giving it back to her in a much bigger way. From the age of 3, she taught her and made her beat herself up. For example, when she spilled her drink, she had to clean it up, come in front of her mother and slap herself with a few slaps, if her mother thought it was still not enough, she stuck one on herself.
She lives in this environment until now. Over the years, toxic stress has begun to sign off on her, both mentally and physically. She became afraid of men and stopped completely looking into the eyes of others. she started having problems with her medical condition, but no one took any notice.
