🕶️ All participants must post this book on their profile as an announcement AND add this book to your public and private reading list so that you are notified of updates for the award.
🕶️ Fill out each form neatly to avoid confusion.
🕶️ Each entry will be verified by a comment from the hosts and will be added to the reading list and participant list within 3 days. If your book is missing from the list or you haven't gotten a confirmation within 3 days please notify one of the hosts.
🕶️ Books must have at least 10 chapters or more, the amount of views doesn't matter we would like to give everyone a chance.
🕶️In the one-shot category one-shots and short stories are allowed. Short stories have a maximum of 9 chapters and must be completed. The book needs to have a minimum of 500 words per chapter.
🕶️ Only books in English are allowed.
🕶️ Books that are rated mature are allowed with the appropriate warnings, we will follow Wattpad guideline which means stories with explicit sex scenes, self-harm themes/suicide, abuse, or any graphic depiction of violence should be rated mature and it should be notified to the hosts if your story contains such content. For more information see the Wattpad guidelines at the bottom of the page.
🕶️ Books with prohibited topics are not allowed to participate in the awards, here we will also follow Wattpad guidelines, content that exists solely for the purpose of sexual stimulation, pornographic content between characters under the age of consent, the glorification of sexual violence, Illegal sex acts that are in conflict with the guidelines will be removed by Wattpad. 🕶️ You may enter only 1 book for each category with a maximum of 3 books over 3 categories.
🕶️ Participants should follow their assigned judges.
🕶️ After your book as been accepted please refrain from making any changes to the cover, description, or published chapters, if you want to change your username please notify one of the hosts. Do NOT unpublish your book if you want to withdraw please notify one of the hosts. During the award, you are allowed to publish new chapters.

🕶️ As a participant, you are also allowed to judge just not for the category you are also participating in.
🕶️ Books that are BTS X other idols are NOT allowed, other idols are allowed as side characters, as long as BTS, OC, or y/n are the main characters of the story. For example, if it is a Jungkook x Lisa from Blackpink then it will not be accepted, but if your OC just happens to be friends with Jackson from Got7 but the main story is about OCX BTS that is allowed.
🕶️ All participants must have the tag #Spinebreakerawards2020 on the tag portion of their book they entered.
🕶️ Books don't have to be complete (except for one-shots and short stories) they can be ongoing. You can update while taking part in the awards, even after your book has been accepted.
🕶️ Be kind and respectful to each other and the hosts were are just people too.

🕶️ There won't be a maximum amount of judges for a category, the mere the merrier. We want to have a fair judging process and therefore assign, multiple judges to one book. For this reason, the judge can also decide themselves how many books they want to read for the category they are judging in, again the mere the merrier, but make sure you will be able to read the assigned books in 1 and a half month period for the second round (The first round will be two weeks).

🕶️ Do not accept any form of bribery and report this to the hosts. Also, favoritism isn't allowed just because the author of the book is your friend she shouldn't get a higher score.

🕶️ Preferably read the whole book you are judging but reading at least 15-20 chapters not counting author notes, prologue, and character introduction is mandatory before filling in the judging criteria.

Mature Rating
Marking your story Mature does not mean that it can contain prohibited content. Stories that contain prohibited content will be removed regardless of their rating.
Mature stories are intended for an audience that is 17 and up. There are restrictions on discovering Mature stories on Wattpad that help ensure they reach the correct audience. A story may be rated Mature if it contains any of the following:
Explicit sex scenes
Self-harm themes or scenes (including suicide and eating disorders)
Graphic depictions of violence; including but not limited to: sexual, verbal, emotional and/ or physical abuse.
If you feel that your story fits our guidelines, but may include parts that aren't appropriate for younger readers, please rate your story Mature.

The following are not allowed on Wattpad. This is not a complete list, and we have the right to remove any content that we find inappropriate. Any content that could put our community at risk will be removed. Wattpad has the right to close any account or remove content without notice.

Pornographic Content. Wattpad considers content to be pornographic when it exists solely for the purpose of sexual stimulation.
Age of Consent. The age of consent is 16+ on Wattpad. Any sexual content between characters must abide by this age of consent and not be in violation of Canadian Law.
Glorification of Sexual Violence. Wattpad classifies non-consensual sexual acts to include rape, sexual assault, kidnapping for sexual purposes, or sexual slavery. The content cannot be encouraging or promoting of non-consensual sex acts.
Illegal Sex Acts. In accordance with Canadian Law, any content which encourages illegal sex acts including, but not limited to, bestiality or necrophilia, will be removed.
