So today, I decided to go out with Lauren. Cause idk to make it more believable to our friends. Plus shes fun to hang out with. I pull up at her house and she quickly runs out to meet me.
"Oh I was gonna come to the door" I say. "Johnny would never let us leave if you did that." She says, and I nod, she has a point.
Once we get in the car, she turns on music. Beautiful People by Ed Sheeran was playing on the radio so she just left it and sung along. She turns down the music when she gets a phone call.
"Hello?" She asks. The phone is on speaker so I can hear. "Hey Laur, whatcha doin?" Nadia's voice greets through the phone. "Oh hey Nads." Lauren greets. "Uhh I'm on a- date with Hayden." She responds, and looks weirded out saying date.
"Oh. Hey Hayden!" She yells through the phone. "Hey Nadia!" I respond, cheerfully. "Well I dont want to interrupt your date-" Nadia says and Lauren cuts her off. "Its fine. We're just in the car jamming to Ed Sheeran." She says, and Nadia chuckles.
"Well I'll just talk to you later?" Nadia asks. "Yeah, sure. Of course." Lauren says. "Okay, bye guys!" Nadia shouts through the phone. "Bye!!" We both say, and Nadia hangs up.
"Wait..." Lauren says. "Can I use the aux and turn something on?" She asks, grinning mischievously. I just nod and she plugs her phone in. "Oh trust me you'll love this song." She says before turning on something. At first I dont recognize it. That is until I hear it.
"Oh you are to me... like a remedy!" My voice blares through the car and I groan. "No." I say. "Lauren turn it off." I say and she just shakes her head, laughing as she sings along.
After it, the next song plays. And I hear Annie's voice. "This one better?" She asks me and I nod. "Yeah-" I say then stop. "Wait nonononononono not better. Not better. Not better! Lauren if you dont turn it off befo-" I start then stop myself as my voice singing the next part comes in and I roll my eyes.
"Little do you know I hate you soooo much right nowww" I say in a sing songy voice and she laughs. The next song comes on and its Annie again. But it's just her thank god.
"Now this is my jam." She says, nodding her head to photograph and I chuckle. We continue as it goes through a bunch of Annie's songs, and Different by me. And a couple covers of me singing romance type songs when I was younger.
"Jesus what is this?" I ask. "What? You dont like Annie's cover of Stay?" She asks and I shake my head. "I like it. I mean "what is this Playlist?" I clarify and she laughs.
"Its my Hannie playlist." She says, in a duh tone. "Im sorry, You have a Hannie playlist??" I ask, glancing at her like shes crazy. "Duh. Who doesn't?" She responds and I just chuckle. "Me." I state and she rolls her eyes.
Soon enough we got to the beach and decided to go swim. Lauren waded in the water for a while cause it was 'too cold' and I walked in deeper. I gave up waiting and walked back towards her, picking her up, and carrying her, before putting her down where its deeper.
"Hayden its colddddd" She whines. "Its literally not." I say. "It literally is." She says . "I'm gonna make a Lilliam playlist." I announce and she raises an eyebrow.
"But Will and I dont release music." She says. "Its gonna have songs that give me Lilliam vibes." I answer and she nods slowly, but judgingly.
"Don't judge me." I say, crossing my arms and she mocks me, crossing her arms. I splash her with water and she starts splashing me back, running back to wards the shore.
"I'll beat you!" I say, sticking my tongue out at her, as she splashes me again, getting salt water in my mouth. I make a sour face and chase after her. She beat me.
