8. How I met the Monster

Inaayat's POV

"That new kid is hot like super hot" Juhi kept gossiping

"Well tell someone else, I have my eyes set only on The Karan Luthra" Amy said

"Why do great things happen when I'm away? Like when I'm there Nothing happens other than me working around and when I'm not there, Everyone's free, A new kid comes and Atif Aslam performs in the cafeteria" I said

"Oh there he comes, Look there Inaayat, that's him, In the black car " Juhi said

"That's not just a car, It's a fucking Porsche, And wait is that an Armani jacket? Damn I really missed a lot" I exclaimed

"So Juhi what else do you know I asked?"

She smiled

"I got to know a lot , He's pretty rich,He used to study in Amsterdam and got shifted recently His family has only his dad and a brother I guess, He plays the guitar and He's a Leo" She said

"All of this in a day Juhi Di? " Taarni asked

"Four hours, because he's just my type" She said "Oh here he is, Let me go and talk to him"

"Hi, Want me to show you the campus? " She asked as the three of us kept watching her

"No thanks, I spoke to the principal and he said that the Council Head will take care of that" He said plainly

Oh God! He's never going to look at me

"Yeah but the election results aren't out yet so because I'm a nominee maybe I can help" She said

"Yeah you can actually help me by telling me where I can meet the other Nominees" He said as we laughed at her situation.

This guy will never get a girlfriend.

Juhi pointed to our table

He walked upto us as I shifted in my seat uncomfortably.

There was something very intimidating in his presence. It seemed to make me nervous

He looked at three of us. And his gaze stopped right at me

"You must be Inaayat Reza" He said

"And why will she be? " Juhi asked

"Because she's the most Beautiful girl of the campus" He said smiling

I stood up as my eyes just focused on his.

"I'm.. "

"I know who you are, I mean they told me...Can we be friends?" He said extending his hand.

Me showing him the campus was the last time I probably spoke to him.

He then began avoiding me.

And that was something I wasn't used to. I ignore people, they ignoring me never happened.

Even when Saxena sir made him sit beside me he barely made eye contact but when he did I could actually lose myself in those dark brown eyes and Saxena would throw him out.

I don't know why but he's been on my mind since yesterday night's party

I accidentally bumped into someone and was about to hit the floor because of losing my centre of mass but instead of the gravitational force acting on me something else did. Two muscular arms held me as he made me stand on my feet

"Umm thanks" I said awkwardly

"That's.. Okay... Inaayat I was looking for you" He said

"Oh, yeah tell me, Is it some suggestion regarding the fest I really don't -"

"It's about last night" He said plainly

"Oh Actually someone spiked my drink and I don't know what I did so if I said something stupid please forgive me" I said embarassed

"Well okay then.. " He said putting his hands in his pocket

"I said something really stupid nahi? " I asked

"You... You just asked me out for a coffee and I thought we could but it's okay... I totally get it" He said walking away

"Wait, I mean I will... I mean we can go have coffee if that's okay with you" I said

He nodded and quickly we rode off to the nearest cafe. It was called Anavrin. It had books and music along with coffee. It could be the perfect place for a romantic date for people like me.

As we walked in I noticed it was completely empty but it was dimly lit and when he walked and switched on the lights

The place was filled with red roses.

And right in the middle was a table for two with two coffee mugs and few cookies

"Chale you shouldn't keep coffee waiting, Kehte hai future mein coffee nahi millegi" He said as I giggled

"Woh sab thik hai how did you manage to empty the whole hotel? " I asked as he pulled out the chair for me

"Things are easy when you're the owner right? " He said as I looked at him surprised.

"Anavrin is the reverse for Nirvana, And Nivaan owes Nirvana simple Ab can we have coffee nahi tho you know... Aapke pati aur bachon ko bhi coffee nahi milegi" He said as I laughed

As we were having coffee all of a sudden a gunshot was heard.

I woke up with a start

"Are you okay Inaayat? " Zayn asked

I nodded

"Here's your coffee sir, and here's yours ma'am" The air hostess said

"You ordered it for me? " I asked

He nodded.

"Ab le bhi lijiye or else your kids will be deprived of caffeine in their future" He said

Zayn had begun to remind me a lot of Nivaan. In just two meetings I can't explain the uncanny resemblance between both of them. They hate Disney, get poetic when awkward, love coffee and I noticed his ring while he was sipping his coffee

"That's a lapis lazuli" I said pointing out to his ring.

"Just like the one in your locket of the chain you wore" He said

I smiled.

Soon the flight landed.

"So until the next meeting" I said shaking hands with him

"Yeah let's hope we meet soon" He said smiling

As we parted ways all of us came together as we prepared to solve the mission

Distracting myself from Nivaan, Zayn and Kabir I just wanted to focus on finding my brother who was missing

I had to prove Rishab that I am the best RAW agent ever to be recruited
