It had been 11 years since that incident with Endeavor and ever since that day, Izuku had began to see society for how it truly was. Everywhere he turned, he could see discrimination. Discrimination against the quirkless. Discrimination against the weak quirks, and discrimination against the 'villainous' quirks. Society really was fucked up. They would torment and beat him down and tell him he was worthless and yet they would also torment those with quirks saying they were 'weak' or 'villainous' and had no worth.
The society only cared for powerful people. Nobody cared for anything else. If you weren't powerful, no matter how talented or intelligent you were, they would toss you away into the trash, and not cast you a second glance.
He had thought a lot about what Dabi had told him and sadly enough.
Every. Single. Thing.
Dabi said was unfortunately true.
He had come across many situations where the number of people that died could have been prevented, but the so called heroes did not even bat an eye at all the people hurt, and instead would chase after the villains, so they would gain more fame. They didn't care that these civillians, hurt and on the verge of death, had their own families, loved ones that would weep and mourn for them.
That they could have saved so many lives. Could have prevented so many people from having their loved ones be gone forever, never to be able to see them alive and next to them again. He didn't want to see the faces of the heroes responsible for the death of so many innocent lives. So he threw them away. He threw away away all of his hero merchandise.
He tore away all of their posters....
All except for one....
One hero that was a true hero...
One that cared for the people instead of fame....
One who treated everyone equally....
One who believed anyone could be a hero...
And that hero was All Might....
He respected All Might because he only wanted to help people in need. But what had cemented him as a true hero in Izuku's mind was when he had said his famous words.
"Anyone can be a hero."
When 10 year old Izuku first heard those words he jumped around in joy before showing it to Dabi and Toga. Toga had jumped excitedly with him while Dabi ruffled his hair with a smile filled with fondess, like a brother.
Those words and Dabi-nii and Toga-nii were what kept him moving towards his dream of becoming a hero, when nobody else, not even his own mom believed in him. That was why Izuku kept his merchandise and posters of All Might, while the others found themselves in the trash.
Which brings us to Izuku, who was silently observing a hero and villain fight. Kamui Woods was fighting against a Villain as the crowd cheered him on.
'Tch. He could have ended this fight already and prevented a lot of property damage, but instead he's stretching out this fight, unnecessarily.'

FanfictionSociety isn't fair. Life isn't fair. The world isn't fair, espeically towards quirklessness. So why become a hero when you could become a villain?? I do not own mha
