~||On Izuku's Walk Home||~

Izuku was humming to himself as he walked home a skip in his steps. Suddenly, out of nowhere, somebody grabbed him roughly by his neck before pointing a knife at his neck.

"Don't you dare make any noises kiddo. If you do so, say bye bye to your neck."

Izuku started panicking, tears gathering in his eyes. Suddenly he spotted Endeavor a few feet away, his signature scowl on his face.

'Great! He'll definitely rescue me!'

Just then Endeavor spotted both Izuku and the thug.

"There you are you villain! It is time I ended you!"

Izuku could feel the knife in the thug's hand tremble a little.

"I-I have a h-hostage, h-hero! E-Either you let me go or this kid d-dies!"

Izuku knew Endeavor would rescue him.

'Maybe I could ask for an autograph later...?'

Endeavor looked at Izuku's face before growling at the thug.

"My only goal is to stop your rampage villain!"

Both Izuku and the thug's eyes widened. Izuku could hear the shakiness in the thug's voice.

"B-But you're a hero...! S-Shouldn't you try to rescue the kid i-instead...?"

Endeavor raised his hand ready to attack.

"The kid's life means nothing to me! He should be glad that I even came here! My only goal is to be No. 1!"

Izuku eyes widened.

"W-What..?"
Suddenly Endeavor shot his fire at them. Izuku closed his eyes, waiting for the fire to burn him.

'I never got to tell Dabi-nii and Toga-nii goodbye....'

"Hey, you flaming piece of trash! I thought heroes were meant to help people, but here you are trying to burn an innocent kid alive!

Izuku opened his eyes at the familiar voice.

"Dabi-nii, Toga-nii....?"

Said latter turned and looked back at him, smiling before going back to glaring at Endeavor.

Suddenly, the thug holding him hostage fell. He turned to see Dabi tying the thug up before turning to him.

"You okay, kid?"

Izuku nodded shakily.

"Y-Yeah..."

Dabi sighed before patting Izuku's head. Just then, he noticed Izuku's teary eyes. He sighed again, before wiping away Izuku's tears. He hugged Izuku tightly as he whispered.

"You're safe now, squirt. Me and Toga are here now."

They stayed like that for a couple moments before Dabi let go.
