~||Chapter 2||~

~||3rd Person's P.O.V||~

Dabi was wrapping bandages around Toga's left arm while the latter was ranting about Endeavor. 

"I mean, I get it we're Villains, It's their job to capture us, but what was he thinking, trying kill the poor guy?! He was just stealing some food for his kids!! I mean sure that's illegal, but he could've calmly tried to capture him and explain it's not okay to steal, not go and try to burn him to death!!"

 Dabi sighed. 

"Alright, I get it, you hate him. Now calm down and take a breath. Izuku's probably gonna arrive in a few minutes."

 Toga's entire mood changed at the mention of Izuku.

 "You're right, little Izu's coming to visit us~" Dabi sighed. "How is it that mentioning The kid's name makes you..brighten up...?"

Suddenly, before Toga could answer a green blur tackled both Toga and Dabi into a hug. 

"Toga-nii! Dabi-nii!"

Toga picked Izuku up and hugged him back just as  tightly, careful of both of their arms.

"You seem to be in a very good mood today, Izuku!"

 Izuku grinned at Toga. 

"Mhmm! Today was a great!"

 Toga put Izuku down before helping Dabi up with a snort, the latter was lying on the ground pretending to be dead. 

"Alright, get up you drama queen."

 Dabi sat up with a huff. He dusted himself before turning to Izuku.

 "So how was your day, squirt?"

 Izuku stood up giggling and jumping in excitement. 

"Today we had a new teacher and she was really nice!" Dabi hummed while Toga sat down next to Izuku.

"Really? What was this new teacher like?" Izuku put his finger to his chin.

"Well, her name is Jun-san and she has long blue hair, and she's really nice! She stopped Kacchan and everyone when they were bullying me and she even bandaged the burns I got from him!"

Toga grinned, showing her cat like teeth. 

"She sounds nice Izuku, but did she tell you why she helped you?" Izuku frowned as he thought back to this morning.

"Uhmm.... She said something about the world not being nice and that she also received d-dis-discrimination....? What does discrimination even mean, Toga-nii?"

 Toga frowned before turning to Dabi. 

"How do I explain this to him, Dabi?"

Said teen sighed before turning to Izuku.

"You know how everyone treats you badly because of your quirklessness..?" Izuku nodded. Dabi ruffled his hair.

"That's what discrimination means.. To treat someone badly due to their status... Your teacher's quirkless too, I guess and she helped you."

 Izuku made an 'o' shape with his mouth. Toga picked Izuku up to her eye level and peered at him before pouting. 

"Izu, you know me and Dabi can just teach that stupid Kacchan a lesson for being a meanie!" 

Izuku rapidly shook his head. "Nuh-uh! That's mean Toga-nii!" Toga huffed. 

"I'm not doing anything to this Kacchan because of you, Izu. Be glad you're so adorable!" Saying that she squeezed his cheeks. Izuku was giggling while Toga rubbed her cheek against his, grinning like she just won the lotery.

Dabi huffed before smiling softly at the antics of Izuku and Toga. Suddenly Toga plopped down in front of him, a smug grin on her face.

"Did the gwumpy wumpy cat just smile, huh?" Izuku giggled while Dabi flushed.

"S-Shut up, Toga!"

 Toga waggled her eyebrows. 

"My, my, is someone flustered??" 

Dabi groaned.

"Why do I deal with you?"

 "Because you love me!" 

Dabi graoaned. 

"I hate that you're right..."

 For a few hours the two played together with Izuku, a few friendly jabs between the two in between. The sun was starting to set now. Dabi dusted himself before turning to Izuku, who was lying on the sand box with Toga.

 "It's getting late now kid, I think you should head home now." 

Izuku got up and shook the sand away from his hair before dusting his clothes. 

"Okay, Dabi-nii!" 

Meanwhile, Toga was still lying on her back in the sand box. Dabi stared at her before asking.

"You planning on getting up anytime soon??" 

Toga covered her eyes with her arm dramatically. 

"Help me dear kind stranger, for I have fallen in this death pit and cannot rise!" Dabi stared at her silently before smirking suddenly.

"Then perish."

 Toga gasped dramatically. 

"I trusted you and this is how you repay me Dabi!?"

Dabi ignored her as he turned to Izuku and dusted Izuku's hair of any extra sand stuck in his bushy hair. 

"Alright, go home now kid."

 Izuku nodded before turning to Toga. "But what about Toga-nii?" Dabi smirked.

"She'll just have to stay there with all the beautiful bugs!"

Toga stood up with a screech.

"Are there bugs here?!"

Dabi pointed.

"See? She's up, now go." Izuku waved goodbye before running home.

"Dabi?"

Dabi hummed in response.

"I hope you know how much I hate you right now."

"The feelings mutual, Toga."
