Chapter 23

—Bright Vachirawit—

I closed my eyes as I felt the hot water dripping over my body down to the floor, my mind went blank and all I could hear was the water coming from the shower continuously pouring. Before taking a shower, Off and I had a talk at the park and I still couldn't  believe what I just heard and I couldn't imagine or picture out in my mind being in love with my best friend. Maybe not today but I don't know what will happen in the future, maybe things would change the way they we're today or maybe in other dimension we could be together without doubts and struggles, we can be together freely. I am not like this before that kiss happened, what am I like before that moment happened? You got me really confused right now Win.

I went out of the bathroom and went to my room to grab my phone and text Earn but before I could text her I already got a message coming from her. I opened it and from the moment I finished reading it I really don't know what's the matter with me but I'm not sad about her text at all.

"Hey Bright you don't need to fetch me tomorrow because I'll be with my best friend starting tomorrow but thank you for your effort to fetch me everyday. See you at school tomorrow."

I replied her with, "sure see you at school" .

I throw my phone at my bed and thought about what should I do tomorrow. Should I invite Win to go with me again tomorrow at school? Maybe I should do that because in the first place he should be the one who's on the passenger's seat and— no wait what am I thinking?! I must be out of my mind but to think if I'll invite Win tomorrow then I can have free coffee's again. Yes that's a good idea Bright.

I saw a box at the corner of my table and got an idea, I grabbed the box and a paper with a text saying 'wanna go to school with me together again?' and placed it on the box full of paper strips. I smiled at the plan I just made and went out of my house with the box on my hand and placed it in front of Win's house. I went back to my room and opened the terrace to see Win's reaction upon opening the box since my room is just in front of his'.  I texted him saying that he should go out of his house and check it, I pressed the send button and after a few minutes  he went out and almost tripped because of the box. I chuckled upon seeing him almost tripped and he looked at my direction and gave me an angry look. He went outside of his room and went to the terrace, we are just meters apart and he looked at me with a smile on his face. He gently opened the box and found the letter, I was a bit scared and anxious while he was reading it because he might've rejected my offer and be with Luke. I really thought that he would reject me because he looked annoyed while slowly looking at me but after a few seconds he just laughed and almost cried on the floor.

"Oi Bright you're so funny and cheesy at the same time, where did you get the idea of doing this? You could've just texted me cos I would still say yes but thank you for your effort hahaha I just couldn't stop laughing at your reaction hahaha." He laughed loudly, do I looked like a clown right now for him to laugh like that? He almost cried and acted like he is dying. The craziest thing about watching him being like that is that I'm not annoyed at all, instead I am happy to see him laughing like that and what made me even happier is that he said yes.

"So you'll gonna—"

"I know I'll buy you coffee again tomorrow." He didn't let me finish my sentence and spoke immediately. He clearly knew everything what I wanted.

"So see you tomorrow?"

"Yes hahaha be early, I don't want to be late tomorrow." Win said and went inside. I also went inside and closed the sliding door of my room and laid on my bed until I fell asleep.

It's been hours since Bright left and it's already dark, I was just scrolling on my IG when I got a message coming from Bright saying that I should go out and check on something, I smiled because maybe he's already outside and wants to stay here again but as I step outside I tripped on something and almost fell onto the ground but gladly I can still balance myself. I looked back and saw a box, I grabbed it and heard someone laughing. I know it's Bright and looked at him with an angry face, he's at his terrace so I also went to my room and went to the terrace.

I looked at him feeling annoyed but deep inside ashamed of what happened earlier. I slowly opened the box thinking of what could be inside of it, maybe he'll gonna propose? or maybe it's a prank? I successfully opened the box and saw some strips with a letter inside. Seriously? I read the note saying "will you go to school with me tomorrow?" I smiled secretly. Why is he asking me this? I thought he'll fetch Earn everyday, why is he suddenly asking me this? What's with him today?

We bid our good night's and slept, but I couldn't. I'm still thinking about what happened earlier. I'm really curious about what happened to him earlier, he's never been that cheesier before. I wonder what happened with him and Earn, did they fight? Did something bad happened to their relationship? Should I be happy? I don't know.

I'm really confused but I'm happy that I could go to school with him tomorrow again and I really can't wait to sleep and meet him tomorrow.

I laid on my bed and played DAY6's You Were Beautiful since I can't sleep without a music. I gently closed my eyes and fell asleep, I wonder what will happen tomorrow.
