Chapter 5

She came looking as beautiful as always. She had a leather jacket on and she was wearing boots.

She was walking quickly with a bounce to her pace like she was listening to some pop music. She was mouthing the words with the song and today she seemed happy not like yesterday. Her eyes were sparkling and wide like a curious young teen.

She looked my way and stared at me like she recognized me but wasn't so sure.

She smiled at me, a sincere smile which made you smile too. Her smirk was warm and childish.

She kept on walking and I quickly got up to leave the cafe with a smile on my face.
