It's been a tough couple of years trying to put my life together trying to become someone having to fend for my self from a young age and having one person who can't stop any of the abuse whether it be physical or emotional but always has my back and could only be my motivation to work hard and to take advantage of my problem and not mope around and be sad over the situation over it. After the death of my family and having being left with my aunt's and uncles. my grandmother and older aunt were the only people I had to buy me gifts , pay for school trips and school things that were needed.

Anyway my name is Thembalethu Promise Zulu born and bred in the village of Ndwedwe that is located in KwaZulu Natal , South Africa I once had a loving family that consisted of 3 loving and overprotective brothers and 2 loving parents but that all ended in ashes. After the death i had to be sent to live with with my father's family which consisted of my Grandmother , 2 uncles, 5 aunt's and 6 of them could not stand me (WHY IS THAT?) because I am not your average girl im on the bigger side i have thick thighs i dont have a flat tummy and i have chubby cheeks I'm the only pig in the family those are not my words it came from my 2 uncles and 4 aunt's. My granny and older aunt are the only one's who've stood by me even when i was blamed for the fire that killed my family.
After a year of feeling pain , unloved and becoming a slave in my own home after reading books that I had gotten from my aunt and the lessons i had in tourism thats when it came to me and i told myself WHEN I TURN 18 THE ZULU GIRL IS MOVING TO AMERICA thats what the 13 old me told myself.
