In a random building across the city, six men sit in a conference room. A whiteboard with blueprints taped on sit in the front of the room.
"Alright. How are we going to use Mr. L/N's money to profit our newest plan." Said a tall man at the head of the table.
"Hm, we could use it to buy new parts that we weren't able to afford before." Points out a man in the front row.
"That's not enough we need more money for that." The first man says.
"We need more, what about the rest of his family?"
"We promised Mr. L/N to spare his wife and child after we killed him." Recalled the second man.
"Well, we could kidnap the child for ransom, we wouldn't actually harm her. We would just keep her here until the Wife pays up."
"Great idea Sir!"

Your POV
After the confession, Zim and I were watching a movie together on his couch. Every so often Zim would get lost in thought and wouldn't pay attention to the movie.
"I thought about what you said when I asked if you wanted to help me take over the Earth, Zim is sorry I tried to pressure you into something huge like that. And I've been thinking. Should I actually still try to take over this planet? Even if this planet is so FILTHY it is your home after all. And to be completely honest I want to stay here, with you." Zim looked up at me for an answer. All I could do was gape at him.
"Wow Zim, I didn't know you would open up to me like that." I jokingly teased.
"HEY, that was a lot of effort for Zim, hyooman!" He scolded me.
"Right, sorry. Seriously though, I appreciate your apology and I'm happy that you don't want to take over the Earth anymore, and I'm happy to be here with you, but what were you talking about earlier with you having to fight in this 'space' war?" I asked. Zim sighed his antenna falling to the back of his head in sadness.
"This war with the Blorgkins and Irkens is deadly, they have waited for eons to wait for the perfect moment to strike our glorious empire!! The last two years they have laid attack after attack on the empire and we are losing Irken soldiers left and right, my leaders called upon me to make a decision to either fight or not. I don't want to leave you here alone and Zim doesn't want his love-pig to be harmed at war if you come with me. I want to stay and not fight but I also want to make sure I bring glory to the Empire and make my tallest proud! But what will they think of me if I choose to not fight?! WHAT WILL ZIM DO NOW?!"
INCOMING CALL FROM THE ALMIGHTY TALLEST. The computer boomed, I shot straight up with my eyes wide, I looked over at Zim to see his face pale.
"Zim? What are you going to say?" I asked.
"Zim doesn't know. COMPUTER, ACCEPT TRANSMISSION!" The TV cut off to show the two tall leaders sitting in front of the screen looking impatient.
"Zim, your time is up. What is your decision? We need to know NOW." Boomed Tallest Red.
"Uh, erm, Zim uh- has decided to uh..." Zim nervously fiddled with his gloves, looking timid.
"Well? We're all waiting." Tallest Red crossed his arms.
"I decided to, stay. I will not be fighting in this war, Zim still believes the empire will-"
"ZIM, WE ARE RUNNING LOW ON IRKENS. WE NEED YOU." Yelled Purple.
"I thought you said Zim had a choice! Not an order!" I added.
"Why is this human back again. This is IMPORTANT BUSINESS!!" Barked Red.
"Whatever you tell him, you can tell me," I said, Red sighed and piped up.
"Fine anyway, we don't care and I order you to come back to the planet and start more combat training immediately. Leave that dumb dirtball and get here."
"No" Zim mumbled.
"What did you say?" Tallest Purple quietly asked.
"I said NO! You said Zim had a choice and that choice is to stay here. You may be my leaders but Zim has the right to say I will not come and help you." Zim stood straight looking the tallest in the eye.
"FINE! We don't need a defective like you to help us, we don't need you, we never did. You were supposed to die on that planet anyway. We sent you there in the first place to get rid of you! You're a nuisance to this Empire. You have committed several war crimes and we are officially cutting you off." Red stated. Zim guffawed at the screen, stunned by what his leaders said. I couldn't believe this!
"FINE. ZIM DOESN'T NEED YOU. HE CAN ACCOMPLISH MUCH MORE WITHOUT YOU AND THE EMPIRE. ALL I DID WAS TO MAKE YOU PROUD AND YOU NEVER CARED. I HOPE YOU WILL CRUMBLE ALONG WITH YOUR FELLOW IRKENS."
"Invader Zim, signing off, Permanently," Zim growled.
"Zim?" "Are you ok?" Zim was shaking, his eyes wide and filled with tears. I stood up and gathered him in my arms. He gripped my shirt and silently cried on my shoulder. "I'm so sorry," I whispered to him.
"You aren't defective, in fact, you are a blessing, to me." I kissed the top of his forehead as he started sobbing harder. "I won't ever leave you."
"I promise."
