There are two more days for the school to be reopen. This evening our team decided to meet in the park (a few blocks away from my home) just to hang out and play. Among them Misty is my BFF because we have known each other since we started talking, in short, we are childhood buddies, we share many inside jokes, crazy memories and embarrassing photos of each other. Now I am getting ready to meet them. I am in my casual attire that is a short and a t-shirt with a caricature of "Popeye the sailor" on it, my hair is naturally a lot curly, so I often prefer having it in a pony. I am wearing my white sneakers (comfortable). I got down, greeting my mum, who is currently on her phone, I told her that I was going to the park, she gave me a smile and nodded. It took me ten minutes to reach there, spotting them was not a big deal. We all started playing after a small chat. Erik brought his soccer ball.

I was totally engaged playing until I saw a cute little boy crying across the lawn, no one cared to notice but then there was a guy who came to console him, he whispered something in his ear which made the little boy smile. I guess the guy was of our age, I couldn't see him, he was facing the other side, his hair was hidden by a green beanie.

My train of thoughts were clashed when I got hit by the ball by Allen, cursing him I threw back at him.

when I turned to see them again, I couldn't find them but where they stood there was a beanie lying on the grass. I knew it was his, I took it along with me not thinking twice. Now we are sitting on the grass exhausted. We discussed how our year would be, being the last year of high school. We laughed out loud when Erik told about his sister's embarrassing story, then we started talking about Harry Potter. It was time to go home. Misty and I decided to spend the night together at my house.

We got home. Misty went in first, being her second home. She hugged my mother greeting her and my brother who was on couch in the living room playing PS4. I went in next to her, seeing my brother engrossed in what he was doing, I took the chance to hit him playfully and rushed to my mother you know in case he chased me. To my relief he didn't. I went to my mother, who was engaged in preparing dinner. I kissed her on the cheek and gave her smile, which she returned. I told her about Misty staying over and asked when dad would be back. He went on a business trip for a few days.

"Monday", she replied.

With that I went to my room, finding misty already on bed with my laptop on her lap.

"There is something called privacy you know", I said in a playful tone.

"There is something called best friends you know", she replied in the same tone as I did.

We have known everything about each other, even darkest secrets, she always stays by my side. Even I act as her support system when she needs it. At times pulling each other's legs, bitching about someone we hate in common, watching movies together, sharing thoughts and opinions.

Now currently we are on bed upside down, blanket around us, watching FRIENDS, with a bowl of popcorn in between, digging in it as if we are hungry since ages. I threw a popcorn kernel at her knowing that she would return it, I blocked my face with the pillow. Soon we were laughing as hell with popcorn kernels surrounding us.

Now we were sitting in the window sill, of course we had to clean the mess first. We talked about random stuff and then decided to sleep.

Woof, woof, woof, woof, woof

who let the dogs out?

Woof, woof, woof, woof, woof

When the party was nice

The party was pumping

Hey-ya-hipi-ya-ho

And everybody having a ball

Hipi-ya-yo"

I woke up groaning. If you are wondering what was that, it was my alarm tune hehe! I saw time it was 9:45, feeling the urge to pee, I rushed to the bathroom. Finishing my morning routine and taking a warm bath, I went to my closet to find something to wear. At last I decided to go with a high waist short and a simple crop top. With Misty still in a deep sleep, I pushed her off bed making her land on floor, yelping in pain and cursing me.

"I hate you" she said in an irritated tone.

"I love you too dear" I replied with a sheepish grin on my face.

"Now hurry up, its already 11. I will be down", with that I came out shutting the door after me.

Being Sunday, mom was at home. She is a lawyer, successful in her career. She has a bright and captivating smile, curly brown locks falling on her shoulders, charming forest green eyes, no wonder why dad fell for her. I share most of the things with my mom. We occasionally hangout on weekends or her free days. She behaves more as a friend then a mother, she can pass comments, make fun, crack stupid jokes but she is the best.

I guess my brother Harry might be with his friends on football ground. He is a sports freak; he is an all-rounder but his favourite is football. He is 6'1 tall, with admiring brown eyes as my father, which becomes hazel when he is happy. He is the captain of the football team, being captain, he is popular, he is in second year of college, he does good in his academics. So, he is good altogether (I won't accept him as great and talented, so good is enough).

I went to my mom who was watching television joining her, meanwhile waiting for Misty to get down.

We decided to go to the nearby café for breakfast. It nearly took us 10 minutes to reach, driving my car (it's not mine but still). We had pan cakes with honey, the rest of the time was spent talking about how funny the waitress was walking with her extremely high heels and about our first day tomorrow.

When we were done it was nearly 12 at noon, Misty decided to go home. Wondering where I went, I went to my secret get away place. It's a cliff and its beautiful, away from city (trust me it's not as scary as you think). At nights the view is breathtaking, with the view of the city skyline dazzlingly lighten, cool breeze blowing, away from chaos, beautiful and lucid sky covered with sparkling stars (showing that you can still sparkle even when everything around you, is dark). But unfortunately, I can't stay till night.
