The night fell.

As I was sitting near the window in Sans room, overlooking the "real-world" city, my mind kept spinning in overdrive and I didn't know if tomorrow would go as usual.

Mostly because the guys needed to get back to work and then we would be left behind. With the protection of Hongjoong his barrier surrounding us, ofcourse.

So that would be me, Jessa.. and Melody. It felt like ages ago since we just hang out, watched a movie and laughed at some bad acting but I knew that this time, things would be different.

I let out a big sigh, which made San look up from his desk. I didn't notice his worried face until he walked towards me and sat with me at the window.

'Beautiful, isn't it?' San tried to break the silence but it failed as I didn't reply. My eyes were glued to the window and the sight of the lit up city. Stuck within my thoughts.

San sighed and stood up.

'You need to relax. Come with me.' San lifted me up and pulled me close towards his chest. The scent of his cologne calmed me a bit. His breathing made my heart beat in sync with his. I didn't know what he was planning, but before I knew it, we were surrounded by black smoke, teleported out of his room and landed onto the roof of the rental.

The change of air, caught me off guard, but felt comforting. We had the complete overlook on the city below. Faint noises from the traffic filled my soul with peace. A soft breeze cooled my body a bit, giving me the usual stiffness throughout my bra. San chuckled a bit, hugged me from behind, covering them with his hands.

'Talk to me, my beauty.'

The flat, gravel roof had a little corner with some tiles on them. I let go of San and made myself comfortable on the tiles, leaning against the edge of the roof. The edge was high enough so I couldn't fall off the roof but still provided the overlook on the city.

'I have a lot on my mind right now. The thing from Melody also adds to my list of "things-getting-more-fucked-up".' San noticed my worries, sat next to me and put his arm around my shoulder, motioning me to continue talking.

'I don't know. Everything seems to get weirder. The things I did to become like you, back fired on me in so many ways, it's hard. I don't know how much I have to endure and adding up with that is that I am still not a full devil yet.' I sighed.

'Maybe I am not cut out to be a devil's queen...' San looked at my disappointment face. He knew that I worked hard to control my anger but that it took longer since the cloaked man still haunted my dreams, even though he didn't know if the cloaked man was the link in all of this.

I was waiting for a reply from him but no words came out. Only a little smile to assure me that everything will turn out okay. He hugged me and quickly teleported us towards his house in the underworld. I was confused by the sudden change but we eventually landed in his living room.
