I was about to put it back on my pocket when the phone rang. I looked at the caller ID only to find Rhea's name on it. 

I bit my lower lip, trying to decide if I'll just let it go or to answer it. In the end, I unconsciously swipe the answer button, thinking that it might be so urgent.

[CJ! Where the fuck have you been?! I am too tired of waiting for you! Should I just set these blue prints into fire?! Daddy was looking for you! For pete's sake, can you at least try to cooperate with me?!]

Inilayo ko nang bahagya ang cellphone sa tenga ko dahil sa high pitched na pagsigaw niya. Ramdam na ramdam ko 'yong galit niya kay Cy na para bang naiinis siya sa boyfriend niya dahil hindi siya ginagawang priority.

"U-Uh. Hi. I'm Ste--" I didn't finished my words when she screamed like an angry hyena again.

[Who are you?! Are you his girl?! Oh my God, he's seeing other girls?! I'm too disappointed!] She sounds annoyed now.

And I'm annoyed with her voice, too. Including the way she talks to me!

"Then be disappointed. Bye." I ended the call after that.

Padabog akong bumalik sa unit, seryoso lang ang tingin kay Cy. Napakunot ang noo niya, itinigil ang pagkain ng loaf bread nang mapansin ang aura ko.

"Problema mo?" He looked a bit serious but his voice sounded teasing.

Nataranta siya nang ihagis ko ang cellphone niya sa direksyon niya. Mabilis man niya itong nasalo, sumama rin ang tingin niya sa akin dahil sa kaba na mahulog at mabasag ito. Gaya ko.

"Your girlfriend called. Ginawa pa akong kabit." Binangga ko ang balikat niya nang lampasan ko siya. Napatalikod ako, nagpapanggap na hinahanap 'yong damit na susuotin ko mamaya.

"Who?" He sound clueless.

"Rhea." I simply answered, still not looking at him.

"What?!" Parang nagulat pa talaga siya.

Inis ko siyang nilingon, hindi na maipinta ang mukha dahil sa magkahalong inis at galit. "What the hell, Caneda?! You fucking have a girlfriend and you're here with me, trying to mess my life?! Ano, hindi ka ba makuntento sa isa, ha?! Sinet-up ka lang ba sa babaeng 'yon para umakto kang walang girlfriend?!"

"What the hell are you saying?!" He raised his voice a little, holding his temple to massage it.

"She called you and when I answered it, thinking it was too important to ignore, nabulyawan pa ako! Ano?! Plano mo ba akong gawing kabit, ha?! You're using my past as an excuse to play with me?! What the fuck?!"

I know he's just helping me but I just can't really imagine him being a shit! Akala ko pa naman isa siya sa mga taong hindi nakikipaglaro sa mga babae but turns out, wala rin pala siyang pinagkaiba. If I'm going to be his girl, ganoon din ang mararamdaman ko!
