"Woah.."

The boys stared in awe at the castle. It looked nearly brand new.

"It looks amazing..."

(Y/n) smiled softly at the boys. They were frozen in awe.

"It looks like home."

"I hope it feels like home."

San reached down to hold her hand, but she jerked her hand away.

"Your hand.."

She held her hand against his face.

"You're so cold.."

The boys had gone to play in the garden. San and (Y/n) were sitting together in front of the fireplace. She was cuddled up on his lap and his arms were wrapped tightly around her.

"The Blood Moon is in 6 nights."

"I've noticed."

"I don't.."

San pushed away a strand of hair from (Y/n)'s face and held her cheek gently.

"I don't want to hurt you. That's why you have to leave this place. The night before the Blood Moon."

"But if I leave, I can't come back."

"That's what I fear most."

(Y/n) leaned into him closer and he hugged her tighter.

"I don't want you to go. I want you to stay. I want to hold you in my arms. I want to kiss you. I want to love you. Everyday."

"Then let me stay."

"But the Blood Moon.."

"Let me stay."

"(Y/n).."

"San, I'm not leaving you."

If San had a heart, it would have stopped beating.

"Please don't leave."

"I'm not leaving you. Not in this life or any life."

He hugged her close to him. He didn't want to let go.

"Yah! Look what we found!"

The boys held up a tiny, shivering pup. It was dirty and scared.

"Oh, you poor thing.."

(Y/n) stretched out her arms and the boys handed her the pup. It was shaking in fear.

"Oh, you poor baby."

San shifted uncomfortably and cleared his throat. (Y/n) was so cute.

"San let's keep him."

"W-what?"

"Let's keep him."

"But-"

"Please?"

"I- uh fine."

(Y/n) smiled brightly and stood up.

"I'm gonna give you a bath. Then we can get you fed and name you."

San's mouth hung open.

"She just-"

"Left you-"

"For a dog."

San looked slightly offended.

"Hey n-now wait up!"
