Lisa opened the door and closed it slowly, not wanting to announce her arrival to her members. But when she entered the living room to head towards her bedroom, she froze at the sight of her three members all sitting on the couch, staring at her.

She clenched her jaw and took off her mask, heading towards her room without saying anything.

"Lisa," Jisoo was the one who spoke first, her voice stern and it made Lisa stop in her track. "Sit the hell down, would you? You got some explanation to do."

Lisa's shoulders tensed and she sighed. She turned around, faced her members, and stared at them with a blank face. Her head was still dizzy from the alcohol she'd consumed earlier and she only had so much patience to deal with the pep talk her members were going to give her.

Lisa sat on the single couch and leaned back, closing her eyes because the light was starting to pierce her eyes.

"Where have you been?"

Chaeyoung's voice, that is. Lisa should've felt bad at the hurt and disappointment obvious in her voice, but Lisa was becoming numb. She didn't want her members to worry, she hated being pitied. She'd rather people pretend not to notice her crumbling than treating her like a piece of glass that's gonna break in any second.

Lisa huffed, "I had a few drinks, that's it. Nothing big,"

She heard Chaeyoung scoffed, "Nothing big? You disappeared for hours, Lisa. You weren't answering any of our call, you didn't reply to our texts, you didn't even say anything and you -- how could you?"

Lisa gritted her teeth. "Well, I'm here now, aren't I? Why don't we just go to bed --"

"Lisa,"

Lisa stopped, so did her heart for a moment. Jennie sounded like she was on the verge of tears and it made Lisa's heart shatter.

No, Lisa. Shut it. Don't you fucking dare.

"Please, stop running away from us," Jennie pleaded.

Lisa hated it. Lisa hated how the brunette still had her wrapped around her little finger. She shouldn't feel like this. She should never even have feelings for her own bandmate in the first place.

"As if you even care," Lisa bit back instead, even when her heart protested. But her mind insisted. She wouldn't fall for Jennie's trap again. Once was enough to shatter her to pieces, she didn't need her to break the remaining of her, too.

"What? Of course we care, Lali. What's happening with you? You've changed so much and we -- just let us help you. What happened, Lali?" Jisoo's tone softened, desperate.

Lisa laughed sarcastically, shaking her head and standing up. What happened? Nothing much, only that Jennie kissed me after I confessed my feelings towards her and told me to pretend nothing fucking happened the next day. Oh, and to top that? Dispatch revealed she was dating EXO's Kai just two days after. What a fucking joke.

"Nothing happened, this is just me being an asshole. I'm going to bed, sorry to keep you all awake. Good night,"

Later on, the door of her room shut closed.

And Jennie finally let her tears fall.
