"Hey, I'm sorry, but don't worry, I'll help you okay? You have a laptop? I might be able to help you track his location." The detective put a hand on the younger's back, rubbing his hands back and forth, noticing the younger's sudden drop in mood.
"Yeah, I do. Thanks a lot though, I know my friend's causing you a lot of trouble." He fumbled with his fingers, looking down before slowly dragging himself up to grab his laptop in his room.

"No, fucking, way" Min cursed out loudly, pacing himself around Young non-stop.
"Are you done? We can't get things done if you're going to be like this." The male complained, ever since 5 minutes ago, the detective had been circling round and round the older, Young practically looked like a carbon copy of Soon, and Min couldn't process it.
"Okay, I'm done questioning this. Now, explain. Why the heck are you on the news again?" Min finally sat himself back down and questioned.
"I didn't want to, like I said, me and my friend are stuck in the Mad Hatter gang and we can't get out. I need your help." He reasoned, his brows furrowing as he explained.
"Easy! Tell me who your boss is, testifying against him gets you a lighter sentence you know." Min let out a cheerful smile, grabbing the older by the wrist, practically telling the male he wanted him to turn himself in then and there.
"No! Not that easy. That man is insane. He manipulated my friend into doing jobs for him, my friend isn't the most sane person you know, he's mentally ill, and he's taking advantage of him." He broke the grip Min had on his wrist and explained again, this time sounding a little more dejected. "Look, I'd gladly serve time because I already know I need to, but this mafia boss isn't your typical man. You know it yourself, Mad Hatter is a crazy huge gang. He's got so many underlings that are willing to cover for him, just me won't do anything. You'll lose a source of information and a chance to nab a big fish." Young persuaded. It was true, he'd willingly serve time, but he wanted that wicked and sick boss to go down with him regardless. He joined the gang to save a friend, and in that process, he wanted the one who harmed his friend to suffer the consequences.
Min thought for awhile, before silently nodding his head. "Alright. You convinced me for now. If he tells you to take any huge jobs, call me first. We may not be able to nab him first try, but at least you can help me decrease the amount of people that are becoming victims of his. First, where is Mr Lee Beom Seok?" He crossed his arms, eyes squinting under the sun.
"About that...I called him to clean up the mess, so I don't know where he went. I had to clean my friend up because he was covered in blood and shattered with guilt." He uttered, knowing how risky it sounded, especially after he just told Min to trust him. "B-but, I will try and find the location and inform you, okay?" He added on, trying to make an effort to show that he really was good, and it seemed to work, seen as the detective let out a huff of approval.
"Call me the once you get the location." He spoke low voice before turning to leave the rooftop, leaving a relieved Young watching his figure get smaller and smaller.

"How the heck-" Gyu sat beside the detective, jaw-drop shocked. Within 30 minutes, the male had a whole tracking software placed and all that was needed to activate it was a call to the target, which in this case would be Young.
"Now, I need you to give him a call." Soon turned toward Gyu, moving his hand to close his mouth that was hanging open non-stop.
"That's easy, I was planning to call him today anyways. He's still hiding everything frrom me. With this news again, I just hope he spills.." The younger sighed as he swiped through his contacts to find his friend's name to call.
"Hello? Youngie hyung, where are you?"
"Ah, Gyu-ah, nowhere much, don't worry about me"
"Hyung, when are you going to brush me off like this? I've seen the news hyung, again?"
"That's not me Gyu-ah, I already told you, I'm being framed. It's that detective guy."
"Don't treat me like a little kid hyung. I know it's you. Ever since you've made those new friends, you kept yourself away from me. Turn yourself in hyung."
"It's not like this Gyu. I can't tell you now, but just know I mean well and I just want you safe."
"But hyun-" The phone call cut him off before he could argue any further, resulting in the young male letting out a loud sigh.
"H-hey, it's okay." The older held his arm over the younger's shoulder, sensing the disappointment he felt.
"I-I don't know how to feel. He keeps distancing himself from me. And I'm just at a lost. I've tried so many times, and I've literally confirmed you're not the culprit and that definitely means its him but he still doesn't want to admit it." The younger rambled on, getting more emotional as he continued , tears already welling in his eyes.
"I'm sure he kept it from you for a good reason, he probably didn't want you getting caught up in that business. Being a detective, I've seen how it ruined even friends of that gang member, he probably knew and didn't want that happening to you." Soon comforted. He'd be honest in this situation, he wasn't the best with comforting people, especially being stuck in such a situation right now, trying to make someone else feel better felt like torture.
Gyu silently nodded, wiping away the tears that refused to fall from his eyes, "I'll just go for a walk outside, I'll be back, update me on his location, okay?" He mumbled in a husky low tone voice, sounding gentle at the same time. Soon gave a small nod of acknowledgement paired with an encouraging smile, hoping that the male would be able to feel better after the walk.
"Gyu, come back safely"
