"Min can't see this yet, if I can just dig deeper.." He mumbled to himself back at his office, biting his lip, deep in thought. The head detective was more than excited, he wanted to tell the whole world that his beloved junior wasn't the dirty cop that everyone thought he was, but Seungcheol knew more than to just show the tiny spec of evidence he found. People were going to find ways around this, and whoever who framed him would possibly find ways to frame him again.

He needed to make sure that he had every possible way of proving Soon innocent first before he could tell anyone, even Min. And he was going to do it.

"Hello? You better not play around with me, where are you? We were going to meet aren't we? " Min tapped his feet in annoyance. 

"I got caught up with something, I'll get there soon okay? And make sure you wear a mask? You might want to check the news or something. That's all, see you soon, bye."

"What news? Why? Mask? Hello?!" Min practically shouted into the phone, but all was in vain as the phone call ended long before he could even speak. Feeling frustrated and puzzled, he let out a curse under his breath as he switched to the news application to check the news.

BREAKING NEWS!

Looks like the ex-detective Kwon Soon is back again, his malicious crimes this time showed him escaping with someone else, this was the same day that well-known businessman Lee Beom Seok went missing. Police are suspecting that Kwon Soon is the centre of his disappearance. The location and whereabouts of both Mr Lee and Kwon Soon are unknown, however the police force has made a statement and has announced that they will send a search party for Mr Lee.

Min let out a loud groan. He couldn't believe this, looking at the CCTV photo at the side that was sitting beside the news reporter, it really did look like his hyung. It couldn't have been right? Hyung would never lie to him like that. He reminded himself, to trust his friend and practically brother at all costs. Shoving his phone in his pocket, he decided to drop by a convenience store nearby to purchase a mask and meet the man. He was sure he was going to give the man a piece of his mind later.

"What, the, heck" Soon stared at the television screen in front of him. The news of him supposedly committing a crime flashing in his face. "Okay, you can't keep things from me. I'm still a detective. This your friend?" He turned to face Gyu, who only blinked in confusion.

"Oh don't act, that's your friend isn't it." Soon rolled his eyes, landing back on Gyu who only let out a loud laugh.

"I'm sorry, but I can't take you seriously when you literally look like the rebirth of Kaonashi with the blanket wrapped around you like that." His canines showing prominently as he fell backwards on his sofa, laughing, leaving a confused Soon who wasn't sure if he should laugh along or sigh. He's been under shelter with Kim Gyu for the past few days and never even set a single foot out of the house, whoever that was must have been working hard to frame him, he thought.

"Okay okay, stop laughing, come on don't avoid the question. That's your friend isn't it?" The troubled detective grabbed the laughing Gyu by his wrist and pulled him up in one strong lift.

"Okay, okay, in all seriousness, I guess it's just better to speak the truth. Yes that's my friend, his name is Kwon Young and I've been trying to get him out of the gang since forever and I don't even know why he's trying to frame you." His smile fading away as he spoke more, thinking about how his friend started to drift himself away ever since he joined the gang. Young and Gyu were practically inseparable when they were kids, but as they grew older, and ever since Young joined the gang, Gyu knew something was off, with those conversation terminators, brushing every question he had off. Gyu was a little detective of his own too. He knew his friend was in some kind of gang, and he was disappointed that he was right.
