Can smiled, that big smile that showed his adorable dimples, the one that made her melt. My god how she had missed him. " Sanem, you look fabulous." Can said with a low whisper. " I have missed you so, you will never know how much. It seems your fans are relentless, that was a close call." He laughed. She still had her eyes glued on him, her heart was fluttering like butterflies caught in a jar. All the thoughts and doubts were evaporating from her mind. He was perfect, this was perfect, he had just rescued her like a prince in a fairy tale, and she loved it. Can touched her arm, " Sanem, are you ok, you're not hurt are you,"  he asked with concern on his face. The touch seared her skin, it made her warm, " Oh...no I'm not hurt and thank you for helping me." She replied, her breathing shallow and uneven.

This hadn't at all been the magnificent meeting that Can had envisioned as he dreamed of seeing again. In his mind their eyes connect across a crowded room, and as if in slow motion, they walk toward each other, their eyes focused only on one another and their bodies filled with desire. That enchanted moment that would capture them and carry them away. He knew that  happened only in the movies, but this was real, he had been there to do his job, it was his job to make sure know one ever hurt her.

Sanem had managed to regained her composure as she smiled and said, " You look great, how long has it been." She asked, as if to quiz him. What a stupid question, she thought, she knew exactly how long it had been, almost down to the hour. But she continued with her facade, not wanting him to see her desperate need to climb all over him and devour him with kisses. All these images were running vividly through her mind, it made her shift nervously in the seat and feel a hot sensation rise to the top of her head. Can was searching every inch of her in detail, her skin that glowed, her smell that had filled his car, her hair he longed to touch. He imagined releasing her hair from the bun it was tied up in and letting it flow down across her shoulders.  It had always stirred his senses to run his fingers through her hair, it was one of the most sensual thing about her. She could set him on fire with just a look and a toss of her hair, that was a feeling he would never get tired of.

Can bowed his head, with a slight smile, " Well, let me see," he pondered, " I think it's been about 2 years, give or take, wouldn't  you say,"  Sanem turned her eyes away, as if she was giving it a thought, " Yes I would say that's about right. Wow time sure flies when life keeps you busy." she replied. Can loved her actions, always trying to hide or run, but her feelings were forever visible to him. He knew she had missed him by that look in her eyes..... " Shall we go?" He asked, " There's a great place to eat and I'd love to take you there. Are you ready? "  Her nerves had calmed and she was quite comfortable there in the car with him, she nodded her head with a smile in agreement. She would go anywhere with him, to the end of the earth and jump off with him if that's what he wanted. Her soul was singing a song of happiness and it was all she could do to keep from dancing....

He took off weaving his way through the streets and the traffic, it was obvious he knew his way. She wondered how long he had lived here, and where did he live. It was hard for her to imagine him living here, in the town central, It had to be outside of town, probably in a beach shack somewhere. That always seem to suit him, but she didn't want to ask to many questions like that, it might sound like she was prying into his personal life. Her head was definitely  full of questions, but her voice remained silent, with just a glance at him every few minutes, that always caught him looking at her. "Just relax," Can told himself silently in his head, " This is Sanem, your Sanem. You know her inside and out. Don't let your mind get in the way of your heart."  He glanced at her saying, "How long have you been on tour this time, and when will you be able to go home."  He asked the questions he already knew the answers to, but he needed to break the silence.

Sanem gave him all of her news, how long she had been away and telling him just one more stop and then she would happily fly backed home. She delivered her itinerary to him, telling him she would make a 2 day stop in Rabat, Morocco, then from there she would go home. That seemed to break the ice, and she was chatting about just like the old days. She noticed they were on the outskirts of the city, she looked at him with questions, " Can, where are we going, is the restaurant out this far.? " she asked. Her eyes were darting around, and he could see she was uneasy. " Yes just a bit further, it's an outdoor cafe, but it's great. I know you will love it." He stated shooting her a quick smile. She felt reassured, and she trusted him when it came to food. She returned the smile and leaned back into the seat to get comfortable. He felt the weight of the world had been lifted from his heart with her there with him. Her smile conquered any fear that he had, she made him feel invincible, and that everything was possible. He didn't know how long this would last but he was determined to win her back and keep her there with him forever.

They arrived at the cafe, it was definitely a homespun family affair, with all the family taking part in some way. It was no shock to her that the whole family knew Can and welcomed him with open arms. He had that effect on most everyone he met. The atmosphere was wonderful, it made her feel right at home, and right then all of her doubts and fears went away. This was something they would have done back in Istanbul. He loved all the out of the way places, over the fancy sit down restaurants. He picked a table in the corner, away from the crowd, this place was always packed for lunch. They looked at the menu but she had no idea what it said, so she let Can take the liberty of ordering for them. He knew exactly what she liked right down to what she would drink. She loved it, watching him take charge, and speaking their language, it made her heart flutter.

What a wonderful man, so beautiful and kind. What made her think she could ever live without him........
