𝟜. Tom?!

"Yeah, I made some bacon, it was the only thing I didn't burn.." Tom says as I heard him chuckle. I chuckled along, "alright, just go enjoy your food," I said smiling.

Tom POV

I felt so embarrassed.. but at least she wasn't making fun of me for it. Unless she was thinking about it... I shouldn't care.

I go to sit down. But as soon as I did I felt something off. I felt that pain in my chest that I feel on full moons. Something was forcing me to become a monster.

I quickly stood up. "I'll be right back, I'm using the restroom," I said before I quickly went off to the downstairs bathroom.

I pant slightly as I look into the mirror. Purple spots were already showing up all over me. they know I am here. I panicked as I tried to prevent myself form turning into a monster but god it was so hard to.

I lean against the wall groaning as I went though the same pain I felt that one night. "Fucking hell..!" I muttered under my breath.

I looked back into the mirror, seeing my horns and ears, teeth and the purple mist. I pant looking at myself in shock. I can already felt a few waves of my radiance give off of me. I was stressing out too much. I sit down on the floor closing my eyes trying to calm myself down until I heard a knock on the door.

"Hey Tom? You doing alright?" I heard y/n ask. I gasped, "oh- yeah- Sorry I was distracted on my phone," I said but I felt my heart drop when I heard the doorbell. "I'll get it!" I heard y/n say.

I got more nervous and stressed out. I heard her open the door. I put my ear close to the door to try and hear who was at the door.

"Hello ma'am.. we are———— and we need to———- for any dang———-" even know I couldn't hear everything they were saying I knew it was them.

"Um, please don't grab me-" I heard y/n say and heard her gasp. I immediately got up. I flung the door open and ran over to the door. They are putting hand cuffs on y/n while a few red army soldiers came in.

I allowed more of my monster side to come out so I was more powerful. I roared loudly as I began knocking them out. I ate a few... it's not cannibalism if you aren't human.. in the moment. I heard them yell and try to get away. I wouldn't allow that. I got the rest of them, I would never let any of those guys run out because if they mark down where I am, it's over for y/n and I.

I quickly shut the door as I got into my half human and half monster state and ran over to y/n. She looked terrified and I just felt so guilty.

"Tom!!" She says loudly. "What the hell?!" Y/n said. I tried to keep this from her... but people always end up finding your secrets. "Look.. y/n... there is a lot to explain but I need to make sure there ain't any more of those people out there," I said. I got her cuffs loose and made sure I didn't scratch her with my claws. I went over to the window to check if there was any more and I believe it was only that group.

"Tom get over here, now!" Y/n said in a demanding tone. My ears went down as I walked over. "Tom you-" I cut her off by saying, "I'm sorry that I've never told you about this.. it's just... I'm... im not safe to be around... I'm sorry..." I said before hurrying upstairs.

Y/n POV

All I wanted to know is was this the stuff he was hiding from me and the reason why he acted so weird. I saw him run upstairs and I quickly went after him.

I saw her went into his room and heard the door look. I sighed going over and knocking. "Tom please... I want to talk to you. I'm not mad. I'm not.. scared.. I just want to know what is going on and what is wrong.." I said into the door.

Tom being this completed everything I took note on of what he was doing off. It makes sense now but.. I don't get why he'd hide this from me. He tells me everything!

"No y/n... I'll come out when this goes away, I'm too dangerous ok?" I heard Tom say from in his room. I sighed still staying at the door. "Tom please..." I said.

"Y/n no. I said no. I'm toot dangerous in this state I dont want to hurt you or scare you again like I did earlier.." I heard him say. "Tom I wasn't scared. I was shocked. There is a difference. Please.. open the door for me. I trust you. If I think you are dangerous I wouldn't have been trying to talk to you and get in." I said quietly. I heard him sigh from in his room.

A minute went by of silence before I heard the door unlock. I got up quickly and saw that he opened the door a bit bit not fully. I nervously opened the door more and looked at him. He was sitting at the edge of his bed.. still in this state..

"Tom... was this was you have been hiding..?" I asked him. I saw him look to the floor. "Yeah... I did it to protect you..." he said quietly. "When we moved here I thought I had a chance of getting away from them but they find my so easily because when I'm like this, I stress out and give off a powerful radiance that they probably picked up on their signals.." Tom say. I walked over to sit next to him. I took his hand, being carful of his claws I held it softly. "Tom it's ok. I'm here to help you. I don't care how hard it will be but you know I'm always here for you." I told him softly.

Tom looked over at me but then back at the ground. "These people.. they can and will kill you if given the chance. You where lucky earlier because those guys be always carry a gun on them," Tom says to me, holding my hand back. "So they are like cops?" I asked him. He shook his head no. "No, they are from a army..." I heard him say but he sounded more upset.

"Do they have something to do with you being like this..?" I asked him hoping he wouldn't get more upset. "Yeah... actually, a few years ago when I lived with my friends, one of the guys there tricked me.. he gave me something that permanently like this. He was is the leader of those guys who were here earlier. He wanted to use me as a weapon. A super weapon. But I didn't allow it. I found out metal things help my radiance not be as strong. That's why I have these piercings and this necklace. This necklace was actually my dads, he gave it to me and I've never taken it off since." He says. I use my other hand to gently rub his back. I felt bad for him. Terribly bad. "I'm sorry Tom. You shouldn't have to go through this... if it makes you feel better I think you still look very handsome. Something about this.. makes you look sexy~" I purred in a teasing way. I saw him smile and chuckle.

"You'd be surprise at the things I can do in this form~" Tom says giving me a wink. I grinned at this, "why don't you show me~" I then asked getting closer. I gasped feeling him pick me up but then lay down on his bed. I felt him then cuddle me and I giggled. "What does this do?" I asked him. "This makes me purr," he says as I began to hear him purr. I thought it was adorable that he can do that. It turned myself over to hug him. "That is so cute tom!" I said as I kissed his cheek chuckling. "What else?" I asked him. "Well, everything else will be shown to you later~ after all I don't think you want to feel so sore to the point you can't walk for the next few days~" Tom said close to my ear. I shivered from that in a good way and smirked. "Alright.. I'll be looking forward to it~" I said before nuzzling into him. God I loved doing this with him. He was the best at cuddling.

"You know Tom.. I care a lot about you and I will understand everything. So... can I ask how you can turn like this and why those guys were at the door..?" I asked him.
