Promise part 1

"Holy fuck" I yell

We run to a door and it slams shut but Adora lifts it up and we run through

"Come on! We need to run!" Adora yells

We all run

"What's going on? Why are those things trying to kill us?" Catra asks

"They're trying to kill you two. This place sees you two as an invader" Adora says

"Well, can't you tell them to stop?" Catra asks

"Yeah can't you?" I ask

"No, I can't tell them to stop! Clearly nothing in here is listening to me!" Adora yells

We get corned and the monster walks towards us

"Adora" Catra and I both say in sync

"Stand back!" Adora says

Adora slices the wall and ceiling, causing parts of the ceiling to rain down on the monsters as they screech

"What are you doing?!" Catra yells

Adora pulls us both towards her and turns her sword into a shield and protects us from the rubble

We all fall on the ground coughing and Adora is now Adora just less tall

"Ow what the fuck" I say

"You shouldn't be here, Catra and (Y/n) Those things aren't going to stop until they get you two, and as long as I'm protecting you guys, they'll see me as a threat, too" Adora says

"Uh, good thing we didn't ask you to protect us and I can protect (Y/n)" Catra says

Adora looks at me and I shrug

"Wait, you know, what-- Okay. Why are you two even here, anyway? I mean, how did you even find this place?" Adora angrily asks

"It sent up a beam of light a mile high. It wasn't hard" Catra says and pulls me up and pulls me close to her

"How did you?" I jokingly ask

"Does Shadow Weaver know you two are here?" Adora asks

"I'd say Shadow Weaver's got bigger problems right now" Catra says

"Yeah she's in a lot of trouble" I laugh

Adora stands there with one eyebrow raised and I know that look and I can't wait to see Catras reaction

"Why are you looking at me like that? Wait. Nooo... I know what this is about, Ugh, I knew you'd be weird about me letting you escape. I told you it's not because I like you" Catra says

I laugh and Catra lightly elbows me

"I mean, I didn't--I didn't say anything" Adora says

"Anyway, what are you doing here? Where are your new best friends? I thought you guys did everything together" Catra says annoyed

Adora walks up to Catra angrily and I back away

"Oh, my friends? You mean the ones you kidnapped and held for ransom? The ones you let Shadow Weaver imprison and curse?" Adora says

"And then let free" I whisper and Adora glares at me

"Yeah, obviously. What other friends would I be talking about?" Catra says and I snicker

"Come on. Those things will be back any minute, we need to get out of here" Adora says

Adora glares at me and then walks away from Catra
