Love Live!: Perfect Dream Project [PART 1]

WHY SHE CAME:

AKI: "Wait, that's it?"

EMMA: "Yep, nothing else."

AI: "What?! You came all the way across the world for that? That's incredible."

EMMA: "I've been in love with school idols forever!
A long time ago, school idols gave me a lot of confidence.
When I realized that if I went to a Japanese school I could be a school idol, that's what I decided to do, and I studied my butt off to learn Japanese."

AKI: "That's impressive, Japanese can be hard to learn as a second language. English is really hard, too. It took years of extra classes for me."

SHIZUKU: "I think I understand how just one thing can lead the way for the rest of your life, Emma.
There was a single play that drove me to become an actress."

EMMA: "Yeah. Sometimes one thing spurs you on, and it's unforgettable."

AI: "Give us the deets!"

EMMA: "What?! It's not that interesting or anything."

SHIZUKU: "But just you coming to school here is amazing! Come on, I'm curious!"

EMMA: "Hmm. It's really not that interesting, but okay.
When I was a little kid, my parents couldn't make it home because of a snowstorm. So, I had to spend the whole night by myself.
I thought I'd be fine, but when night came I was so lonely. I was scared, too. So, I tried looking at videos to get my mind off it."

AKI: "Yikes, being home alone at such a young age can be very scary. A snowstorm must multiply that fear by ten."

EMMA: "That's when I found Japanese  School Idols.
They looked like princesses from the story books. The stage was like a sparkling sky of stars, and the danced and sang...
I was sucked in, and all that fear and loneliness I had been feeling melted away!
After that, I watched those videos and tried to sing and dance like the idols I saw.
It was so much fun it was morning before I realized it. Isn't it incredible I stayed up all night watching concerts in a language I didn't know? That's what I thought later on."

AKI: "So that's what happened."

AI: "You've been a school idol fan for a long, long time!"

EMMA: "Yep, that's right!"

AKI: "You must be so happy you made it to Japan and became a school idol."

EMMA: "Yeah, and I want to be an even better school idol than I am now! Just like the school idols I saw that night!"

SHIZUKU: "If your love for school idols brought you all the way to Japan, I'm sure you can do it!"

AI: "Don't think you can be a better school idol than me though!"

SHIZUKU: "I-I won't lose either!"

AKI: "You each have a special allure, so I'm sure everyone can be great! So, let's start practice! First stretching, then three laps and ten sets of lifting before singing practice!"

AI: "Whoa, getting intense with the training? I like it!"

EMMA: "The road to becoming a great school idol sure is tough..."
