37; Instinct

Jimin clears his throat at the woman when she finished fixing herself,

"Can you hurry up? I don't wanna waste my time watching you get dressed when you will probably take them off later anyways." He said with a flat tone.

The woman's face turns redder the she did before as she opens his mouth to speak.

"M-Mr. Park i can ex -"

"Who says i will let you?" jimin snaps, his voice's tone is now hard, stern, and dangerous.

He can see the woman shivers slightly, and Jimin can feel her fear even if it's a miles away.

She should really be afraid though, because when it comes to Jimin - no one ever dares to anger or pissed of an already pissed of Jimin.

As much as they all knew his name, they also knew how dangerous he can get.

He isn't like his younger brother Jungkook, who will only smiles and tease you playfully.

No, Jimin isn't here to play games.

"Just go for a moment, Alicia" his father spoke for the first time since Jimin got there.

He irked an eyebrow and smirks at the gentle and tired tone his father gives, before he glares at the woman who quickly walks her way towards the door with her head hung low.

"Jimin," his father called once they were alone, and Jimin stares at the person infront of him - hard.

"I'm glad you came Ji -"

"Stop it. It's disgusting," Jimin spats as his stare turns into death glares.

"I'm only here because Jungkook told me or forced me to, not because i wanted to. I don't want to see your face appa, but i have no choice since i'm here now, right?"

"You need to show some respect yo your father, Jimin."

"Respect? You lost mine years ago"

His father stares at him with an unreadable expression, and Jimin did too.

They were staring at each other for like 30 minutes, when Jimin's ears perked up at his father's next words.

"Alicia .. I'm marrying her,"

Jimin's jaw hardens as his hands balled up into a fists. He narrows his eyes dangerously at his father, trying hard not to strangle the fuck out of him.

"So, you aren't contented with killing Eomma and hyung - now you're replacing her? I can't believe you," he commented with a mocking laugh.

"Well, im not even surprised. So? I don't care what you will do anyways so -"

"I will settle down, and give you the company Jimin."

Jimin's laugh slowly dies down, as he blinks his eyes a couple of times to his father, who is looking all serious at his statement.

He coughs, and slightly chokes; as he gulps a few salivas down.

"W-What?"

"Once i married Alicia, i will step down as the CEO - And you Jimin, will replaced me."

Jimin couldn't find the words to say about his father's decision and proclamation, as he keeps on staring at his father; clearly dumbfounded.

''W-Why me? I told you a million times that i don't want to run this company, why not Jungkook instead?"

"Jungkook is still at Uni, Jimin. Besides, he's childish - he doesn't know how to run a company, much less an empire."

Jimin scoffs and crossed his arms again.

"So what? I will be the CEO so you can control my life and everything that i will do just like what you did to him? No fucking way."

His father didn't say a thing, only leans on his chair.

"And besides, i have no intention to run a company. I have some better things to do and -"

"Like what? Visiting a certain painter?"

His father's question took him to the last of his patience, as he bore death glares into his eyes.

His father knows about Yoongi, and Jimin instantly knew that his father has been keeping an eye on his every actions.

Of course, he keeps an eye on his reputation by making sure that Jimin wouldn't ruin his.

And he knows his father would go to every length just to get what he wants.

"Fucking don't touch him," Jimin said between gritted teeth.

He was such a fool.

He should have been kept quiet, or subtle. He shouldn't have forget about his bastard of a father.

"I am not touching him Jimin, im not that bad." His father said, and he only glares hard.

"I have changed Jimin, i just want to live a peaceful and normal life again. Settle down with Alicia while my sons are living the way they should."

Jimin doesn't know if he should believe it. Afterall, people can't actually change overnight.

And if they did, that's bullshit - an illusion.

"just think about it Jimin, i will be marrying Alicia in the next two months,"

Jimin gritted his teeth as his father's words processed through his brain.

"I'll be waiting for your decision in two months,"

He doesn't know what to believe,

He doesn't know if he should believe.

But all he knows right now is he needs to protect Yoongi to any potential threat his father will give or do,

He needs to trust his instinct.
