We left the club we all got in the van but Izzy and Mads were a bit behind talking I roll my eyes do they ever stop talking . Izzy gets in and Mads realises and so do I she has to sit on my lap great .

"Wait no Izzy" she says to Izzy .

Izzy doesn't listen and pulls her in " stop complaining we know u want to " Izzy says to her .

She sits on my lap , Simon drives while jace gives him directions .

"Don't move around this time " I whisper in her ear , she shudders I smirk at the effect I have on her . She turns around our faces are very close .

"Maybe I will " she whispers her breath fanning my face . I don't say anything . She gives me a fake smile and turns back around .

We were both acting very awkward my hands were on my sides and she was sitting on my knee . When all of a sudden Simon stops making mads nearly go flying forwards . I quickly wrap my hands around her waist and pull her back into me . "Thanks " she says to me I just nod .

" Simon what the hell cant you drive " she says to the mundie .izzy laughs .

" sorry I was about to take the wrong turn " he apologise.

We get to the city of bones . We all get out of the van .

Simon starts rambling I don't even pay attention what it says .

Me jace and Izzy go to make sure it's safe .

"What's your problem with them anyways ? Your family always used to welcome strays . And why are you always arguing with Mads " he says I instantly roll my eyes at the mention of her something about her annoys me .

" you were never a stray , and because she's annoying and irritates me " I tell him .

He rolls his eyes and mutters a be nice .

We go back , and I see mads glaring at me now what's her problem .

"What they lack your charm " mads says to jace . He laughs while I rolls his eyes .

"Yh most people do . But I mean the brothers communicate without using words , just their thoughts . Jace explains .

"That doesn't sound so bad " clary says .

"Don't let their silence fool you . They'll hold the soul-soul to your heads , and with its blade carve the truth from your minds . If your not strong enough, you'll both die " jace says looking at them both.

"I take that back . That sounds level ten bad " clary says , Mads laugh .

We enter the entrance . "We can do this " clary says holding her hand .

"Of course you both can your Mads and clary freaking fray . You can do anything " Simon says , while walking forward while jace stops him .

"All right hold up " jace says to Simon .

"Surprise, surprise, no mundanes allowed just like the training room , right? Wrong I've seen every horror movie ever made and the funny friend who gets left behind .. dead man " Simon says causing mads and Izzy to laugh . I roll my eyes

"your not that funny " I says .he really isn't

"Yh he is " Mads say back to me , i just glares at her .

"By all means , go ahead of course the minute you enter you will die " jace says .

"Problem now is I don't trust you " He said looking at jace .
