Chapter 11: Blankie Go Bye Bye

Emily's POV
I wake up and rub my eyes with the back of my hand and pick my phone up looking at the time 8:39AM
'Wait how did I get in my bed last I remember I was on the couch with ...'
I suddenly can't wipe the smile of my face again as I put my phone down next to me thinking back to yesterday
'He kissed me !!! And I kissed him !!! Then I got two more kisses on my cheek'
"I know that smile!"
I jump back scared out of my mind and look up
"Teddy what was that for you just made me jump out of my skin"
she then grins
"Maybe but you've still that smile on your face so tell me what happened"
I try to play dumb
"I have no idea what your talking about"
Teddy then nods slowly
"Sure so your face wasn't red whilst cuddling into Ethan's arms on the couch at 10 o'clock last night with you fast asleep"
another voice then interrupts them
"Hah I knew you two would get together!"
I look around the room then back down to my bed to see that I'd butt dialled Dylan I then hear Sophie as well
"I called it !"
Another voice is then heard from the door
"Called what?"
I look up to see Ethan leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed over his chest and I point at him shouting
"What are you doing here? Do you ever sleep?"
He laughs before sitting next to me on the bed
"Of course I sleep I just slept on the couch last night"
I then hear Dylan
"Moving in already Damn Ethan you move fast"
I blush bright red at the comment and Ethan chuckles before turning to me
"I believe I was promised something before I leave"
teddy then stands up from her bed
"I'm gonna leave"
she then walks out as I mumble under my breath "Traitor"
Ethan then smirks before putting his hand on my cheek and I lean into his touch before he pulls me closer and his soft lips connect with mine and I hear cheers from my phone causing me to jump back. Ethan just chuckles before stroking my cheek and lowering his hand as Sophie shouts through the phone
"I hope you both are ready for interrogations on Saturday" I raise an eyebrow "I thought this was my interrogation. And what's happening on Saturday" Dylan then cuts in "Ethan prepare for an interrogation as well. And we were planning to meet up on Saturday the four of us" I roll my eyes and Ethan stands up "Ok Well I'm off home I'll see you on Saturday. Oh and can we meet up on Monday Em? I wanna find out how that book ends."
I nod smiling like an idiot
"Yeah that'll be great"
I hear Sophie awing from my phone as I pick it up
"I'll speak to you two later."
They both then reply in unison
"You better!"
Before hanging up the phone Ethan the puts two fingers under my chin lifting it up and giving me a little kiss before waving goodbye
"See you tomorrow"
'That really just happened !!! Cause if it's a dream then I never want to wake up'

After confirming that it was real and getting changed out of my pyjamas i head upstairs to the kitchen as mum and dad walk out holding Charlie
"I their any breakfast still left?"
Mum smiles whilst dad heads upstairs
"Sure honey there should still be some toast left."
"Ok thanks mom"
just before I open the door mum smiles at me "Your boyfriend left his backpack so you might wanna return it" she then walks upstairs and I stay frozen in place
'Ok so that happened... he can pick his backpack up on Monday i'm sure he'll be fine'

I then enter the kitchen to see teddy trying to motivate the boys
'Did I miss something?'
Pj then stands up from his chair and answers teddy
"Don't we do enough for them on mother's and Father's Day?"
Teddy follows him over to the counter replying
"You never do anything for them"
"Excuse me I was born which made them a mother and father."
I then interrupt him
"Y'know I was born before you right?"
Teddy ignores us both and continues
"Well I think we should surprise them with a romantic dinner"
I then look over at the fridge
"Ohhhh that's right it's mom and dads anniversary this Saturday"
Gabe then turns to teddy
"Your gonna make a dinner?"
Teddy hesitates then makes her way back over to the table
"I think we should surprise them and order a romantic dinner"
'Nice save'
She then continues
"Then we can serve it to them like waiters"
Gabe then complains to pj
"Why do teddy's ideas always take so much work"
pj then turns to teddy
"I think I get it, if we do something nice for them then they have to do something nice for us"
I sigh
"No I don't think you get it"
I'm once again ignored as the boys begin talking about getting presents and teddy interrupts them
"Why can't we do it because we love them?"
Gabe then says in a matter of fact tone
"Cause then we don't get stuff- duh"
Teddy rolls her eyes and turns to me
"Emily can you help me please"
I nod
"I'll see what I can do but I make no promises I'm supposed to be meeting up with Sophie and the boys on Saturday she keeps saying she needs to 'interrogate me' "
Teddy sighs and walks out the kitchen as the boys also leave as I munch on my toast
'What is with everyone today?'
