📕📘📙📓 Emily's POV It's been over a week since me and Ethan started our project and it's been going well the collage let us work together and produce one product as long as there was evidence suggesting we could have done it separately. Honestly I was quite surprised but happy non the less. We've agreed to meet up 3 times a week to work on the project since we both have jobs as well as the project and we're meeting up tomorrow and I have no work or homework which means I can have a chill day.
I get out of bed and here a voice from the other side of the door so I open it to see Teddy making a video "Hey Charlie so today I want to talk to you today about best friends" Ivy, teddy's best friend, then jumps onto the screen "You bragging about me again?" Teddy laughs "Yeah this is Ivy my BFF" I clear my throat rubbing my eyes as teddy and Ivy turn around "Oh hey Em nice outfit" Teddy says sarcastically so I roll my eyes "Give me a break I just got up" Ivy then asks "When did you get back Em" I rub my eye again "Just over a week ago" She nods and they both go back to the video whilst I go back to my shared room and start my morning routine before getting changed [outfit in media] before walking out of my room to hear mum "Oh that does look like a winky face" She says looking down at her phone so I take mine out of my pocket to see a message from my teachers at collage 'Even though I've passed my exams there still giving us homework unbelievable!!! Well there goes my free day' I then sigh and mum turns around "Hey Em what's got you so down" I sigh again before looking up from my screen "Turns out I am going to be getting homework from my teachers via E-mails and texts" She gives me a sad smile "Sorry to hear that honey but on a positive note I'm a texter now" she then winks at the three of us and walks off as ivy's phone chimes and she reads out "WHYD ?" Teddy then throws her arms in the air "What have you done ?" I just shrug before walking back into my room grabbing my books and pens before picking up my phone to message Ethan.
Me —— Ethan 📲 Did you get any homework off Mrs O'Brian? Yeah I thought we wouldn't get any since we've finished the exams You and me both, it's ridiculous and the questions booklet alone is ten pages !!! Want me to come over and we'll work on it together? You sure? I mean last time you was over i used you as a pillow? Haha! Sure I'll be over in an hour plus we can go out for lunch, I'm buying No you will not we will split it! Nope I'm paying How about no you aren't We will settle this when I get there Damn right we will !!! 📲
I make my way upstairs with my work before sitting in an empty living room. 'This never happens'
I'm about 5 questions into my maths homework before there's a knock at the door so I go and open it to see Ethan there "Hey" I smile at him "Hey come in, so have you read any of the questions yet?" He shakes his head "I was busy re-drawing the designs we came up with last week" I nod as we both sit down and he gets his books out with all the questions "Did you see how many questions there are it's ridiculous" I sigh and nod "Yeah in the time it took you to get over here I've only done 5 questions" He smiles "Then we better get started" *Time Skip* We're about half way through finally but it's no longer an empty living room Pj Is watching these mystery's on the Tv when Gabe comes through the door "Pj you've got to stop watching these mystery's" I look at Ethan and mouth 'Take a break?' He nods and we put our pens down with our books on the coffee table and sit comfortably on the couch Pj then replies to Gabe "Not until I catch Mrs dabney and these old mystery's are gonna help me do that" I then look at Pj puzzled "What has she done Pj?" He then turns to me and Ethan "She mudered mr dabney!" I look unconvinced "You sure you didn't just miss hear her or read the situation wrong" "I'm serious Em!" He snaps and I hold my hands up in surrender "Ok Pj I believe you which means we need proof" He nods as Gabe hangs his coat up *Ding* *Dong* The door bell rings and Gabe shouts "Mom can you get that!" She comes into the living room phone in her hand But I stand up first "It's alright mom I'll get it" I open the door to see the one and only Mrs dabney so I have her a smile "Hello Mrs Dabney come on in" Mom then looks suspiciously at Gabe "What has Gabe done this time?" Mrs dabney then sighs "For once nothing ... that I know of" She then turns to Gabe who has a smile on his face "Nice to see you too" This causes Ethan to snigger and me to giggle as Mrs dabney turns to Mom "I need to speak with your husband please" I go and sit back next to Ethan as mom gets her phone out "I'll let him know your here" She then begins texting so I lean closer to Ethan and whisper "Who's shown her that? She's gonna turn into someone who doesn't put there phone down!" He chuckles making my face heat up a bit "Oh like you and all technology?" I gasp hand on my heart in fake hurt "Now that was uncalled for" We both then laugh and dad walks in "Honey what does this mean 'Somebody's at the doof'?" Mom then laughs "Hahaha OMG I meant door" I bury my head into Ethans chest mumbling "Make it stop" He laughs again as mom says "TTYL" Then she winks? I just bury my head again embarrassed by my moms behaviour Mrs Dabney than goes to my dad "You an exterminator right?" My dad nods 'Correcting her' "Pest control specialist yes" Ethan raises an eyebrow and I shrug as Pj and Gabe watch them in suspicion "Maybe you can help me with a problem I'm having, how do I get the smell of death out of my house?" The tv then plays this creepy music causing me, Pj, Gabe and Ethan to jump out of our skin and dad turns to us "Can you turn that tv down?" They do and dad turns back to Mrs dabney "So you think something died in your house?" She nods "Oh I know something died" My dad then sighs "Well first thing your going to have to do is locate and dispose of the carcass, well I suppose you can get Mr dabney to do that" She quickly replies "Oh he won't be doing anything around the house for a long while, he's gone" The Tv plays that music again making us all jump again I curl up closer to Ethan and he wraps his arms around me whilst the boys struggle for the remote as Mrs dabney turns to them "What is wrong with you boys today at least the only decent child here is behaving as usual" She nods towards me and Dad sighs again "I just got here, um alright oldest trick in the book get yourself some maple syrup put it on the stove let it simmer and that should get rid of the smell" She nods looking towards all of us again "Thank you thats very useful information, bye boys" She then nods to me "Emily" I smile back and She walks out the door and dad goes upstairs to talk to mom as the boys begin this ridiculous conversation saying that Pj is right I sigh The tv then turns itself back on again and the boys run out but I see Ethan with the remote "There very jumpy today aren't they?" I then burst out laughing and so does he when we calm down he removes his arm from around me and I pout slightly causing him to chuckle "Relax I was gonna suggest we go out for that lunch now and leave this work for another day since we've been at it for a while now" I nod and look at the time "Y'know it's basically tea time" He smirks "So are you going to allow me to take you out for tea?" My eyes widen in realisation and he laughs I then sigh "Fine but let me get changed first" He shakes his head "You look amazing already there should be no need too" This time I shake my head "Were going out and it's warm outside still so I'm gonna get changed I'll be right back" He nods and I go downstairs and get changed

I come back upstairs and smile at Ethan then shout upstairs to my parents "Mom dad I'm going out" Mom shouts back "Ok honey let us know if you need anything" I shout back up "Ok see you later!" We then make our way out *Time skip* [since it's not a date ...] We walk up to my front door and I give him a hug "Thank you for dinner although I said we'd split it" He chuckles "You snooze you lose plus I already said I was paying you just did hear" I smile and say in a sarcastic voice "Oh I'm sure that's what happened" We then hug again and I walk back into the house and I see mom holding out her thumbs "Text thumbs" I laugh and see teddy with her video diary's Teddy then turns to me "So how was your date with Ethan?" I then sigh "It wasn't a date Teddy" She smirks "Sure it wasn't" but she decides to let it go I then turn to the camera "If you ever go on a date and teddy's home. Well" I then smile "Good Luck Charlie" Me and teddy then put our hands over the camera and I walk downstairs and go to bed but before falling asleep I see a text from Ethan 📲 'Despite the work I had fun today don't forget we need to finish the other half another day ... maybe I can take you out again next time? 😁' 📲 I smile and shake my head 'Yeah Good Luck with that Ethan' 📕📘📙📓
