Since Emily was at collage during Charlie's birth I'm gonna skip her 1st birthday and go straight onto the tree house episode so sorry for anyone who wanted to go through Charlie's first birthday.

Emily's POV
I open my eyes the following morning a huge smile on my face but I then hear barking outside
"When did our neighbour get a dog?"
I rub the sleep out of my eyes before heading upstairs in my pyjamas [In media]. When I walk into the kitchen I see teddy yawn with her video diary camera out.
"Hey Charlie it's your big sister teddy here with the latest instalment of my video diary" 'Ok she seems tiered'
mom then looks up from feeding Charlie
"Teddy then that thing off it's breakfast time"
Teddy then snaps back
"In a minute"
'Ok I'm staying out of that one'
I then walk over to Gabe who is hitting the toaster. I put my hand on his shoulder
"Gabe what did the toaster ever do to you"
he sighs and looks at me before answering
"this things taking forever! I don't even remember what I put in here"
I snigger and mom gives me a look so I stop but then dad walks in with only half of his face shaved causing me and Gabe to cover our mouths so we don't laugh. And dad reply's to mom
"Maybe I like it like this"
mom then turns around angry
"well you look ridiculous what if I only brushed half my hair"
'bad example at a time like this'
dad then shrugs
"I thought you'd already made that choice"
Mom then stood up abruptly
"Oh you are going down !!"
I then run over to mom and hold her back as teddy says
"Wow wow wow stop !! Listen ... the barking it's stopped"
everyone sighs in relief but we celebrated too soon as the toaster goes off and the barking resumes and everyone except me and Charlie starts shouting at Gabe as he shrugs. After a few moments everyone goes back to eating and I say
"Well then I'm going to get dressed see you in a few"
everyone nods in acknowledgement.

I make my way downstairs and do my morning routine before getting dressed

I then walk back into the kitchen and hear mom "And I bake a pie" I then ask "Bake who a pie Mom?" Dad then replies "Mrs Dabney we're gonna invite her over and I want everyone on their best behaviour

I then ask
"Bake who a pie Mom?"
Dad then replies
"Mrs Dabney we're gonna invite her over and I want everyone on their best behaviour. Especially you Gabe"
Gabe then shakes his head
"I don't think I have a best behaviour"
I then laugh
"Let's hope you find one then. Well I'm off to finish my blueprints"
Teddy then asks
"When do you ever stop working?"
I smile
"I'll have you know I went out last night with my friends"
Teddy then smirks
"oh yeah with ethaaaan"
I raise an eyebrow trying not to blush
"Speaking of. Mom can Ethan come over again tomorrow we need to finish our blueprints and soldering"
mom nods
"Yes as long as you don't burn the place down"
I nod smiling
"Thanks and would you like me to help with that pie"
Teddy quickly stands up
"Yes at least it will be edible"
mom glares at her. I laugh and begin getting the ingredients out.

*Timeskip*

I walk into the living room from the kitchen pie in hand as Mrs Dabney sits back on the couch
"Alright I've had my pie. What do you want?"
Mom and Teddy put on fake smiles
"We don't want anything mrs dabney"
"yeah we're just being neighbourly"
Mrs Dabney then points to gabe
"What did he do"
I then put my arm around Gabe
"He actually hasn't done anything"
she nods believing me but still stares at Gabe
"I don't like you Gabe"
Gabe then puts on a fake smile and leans forwards
"Well I like you Mrs Dabney infact id like to take care of you"
I sigh and shake my head as dad points to Gabe
"Out"
Gabe rolls his eyes and walks into the kitchen. Mom then turns to Mrs Dabney
"So you have a new dog a little chihuahua"
Mrs Dabney rolls her eyes
"Ah so that's what this is about."
PJ then shrugs
"It's not, not what this is about"
I shake my head and turn to Mrs Dabney
"You see he tends to bark a lot"
dad then jumps in
"All night long."
Mom then cuts dad off
"So we were wondering if you could bring the dog in at night"
she then shrugs
"I don't know fresh air is good for dogs"
dad then shrugs
"Sleep is good for people"
everyone fake laughs and Mrs dabney's face turns serious
"I thought that after everyone of your many baby's arrived"
dad quickly changes the subject
"We were talking about the dog"
she then shrugs
"Well since were airing our grievances maybe there's something that you can do for me"
Mom then jumps in
"We're not sending Gabe to military school"
dad then jumps in
"But if it's a deal breaker we are willing to send him to other places"
I roll my eyes
'Wait why would Mrs Dabney have a dog? I thought she had a cat?'
I'm broken out of my thoughts by Mrs Dabney
"There's a large branch that hangs over my yard always dropping acorns and making a big mess"
dad then stands up
"No problem. Dog goes in, branch comes off. We got a deal?"
They then shake hands
"We've got a deal"
Teddy then gasps
"But dad that branch holds our tree house"
dad shrugs
"So what you guys haven't been up there in years"
I then do a double take
"Wait that things still up there?"
Mrs Dabney then nods
"Y'know if that tree house comes down that would be even better. More sunlight for my vegetable garden. Start eating healthier might even make it to my goal of living to be 100"
PJ spits out his drink in shock as I laugh as Mrs Dabney goes to leave and mom says
"Mrs Dabney would you like to have another slice of pie?"
She then opens the door
"You have a good night now"
as she leaves I follow her out to her front door and asks
"So how long are you going to be looking after the dog?"
She smiles at me
"Of course you figured it out"
I shrug
"I remember you showing me a picture of your cats and usually dogs and cats don't mix not to mention how quickly you came up with the idea of the tree branch on the fly"
she then smirks
"Now you have a good night"
I then shrug before walking back home.
'It'll be fine ... Hopefully'
