Wanda's POV:

I walked into the school my hoodie on and blasting music. I had already missed a week from school but i would be able to catch up. I walked into journalism and sat down next to Loki. The teacher talked and talked. But if I'm being honest i wasn't that interested.

°1 hours before°

I walked into my house and ran upstairs before my dad saw me.

"Wanda." His voice came.

"Yeah." I said turning around.

"I'm not going to ask because you'll to me. I'll take you to school get dressed." My dad said.

I went into the bathroom and coughed as i opened the medicine cabinet. I took some of the pain medication my dad uses that's "too strong" for teens.

I took three and walked out.

°Present Time°

"You think you can lie to everyone." Loki's voice came.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" I asked.

"Your high as a kite right now. Thanks to Natasha causing you to relapse." He said.

"You physic or you really good at figuring this shit out?" I asked.

He smiled and went back to paying attention to the teacher.

The bell rang moments later. I got up and packed my things up.

"Give me a call when you decide to stop killing yourself. Well go for pancakes." Loki said and gave me his number.

I watched as left the classroom. Was it that obvious?

Outside the school i laid down on the grass, looking up at the blue sky. I felt my phone ring.

"Hello." I answered.

"Miss me?" Hope's voice came.

"Hi lovely." I said my heart beating heavily and my cheeks blushing.

"So my mom and i are actually at the airport as we speak. I'm headed to New York." She said.

"I can't wait to see you again. Everything will change." I replied.

"I have to go but I'll see you soon." She said.

"Love you." I said. I hung up and laid there.

I felt my tears fall as i thought of the damage i was doing to Hope and Natasha.

Natasha a few moments later walked over to me.

"Penny for your thought." She said. I smiled as she sat down next to me.
