"You gonna do this in the Grill? In front of everyone? It's a little beneath you, don't you think?" Damon says, approaching him slightly. I only sat and watched quietly, taking small sips of my soda.

"I don't know what you are talking about. I just came down to my local pub to grab a drink with a mate." He muses before pointing to the man he brought with him. I didn't recognize him but the from the look on Elena's face, I can assume she did.

"Get a round in, would you Tony?" He speaks to his friend who nods and goes to order drinks.

"Scarlett, nice to see you again, Love." He says, now bringing his attention to me. I awkwardly smile as Elena and Damon share confused glances and look back at me.

"yup..." I trail off, going to take another sip but finding my drink empty.

"Im surprised you stuck around long enough for happy hour." Damon says, still sounding slightly confused.

"My sister seems to be missing, need to sort that out." My eyes slightly widen as I make eye contact with Elena.

"Cute blonde bombshell, psycho. Shouldn't be too hard to find." Damon shrugs as I scrunch up my nose. Why would he say that to her brother.

"Truth is I've grown to rather like your little town. Think I might fancy a home here." He speaks, his friend, Tony , approaching us with the drinks he ordered. When he sets them down Klaus picks up one of the glasses and slides it over to me, only glancing momentarily as he does.

I take the drink with a slight smile and probably bright pink cheeks. When Damon's eyes meet mine I quickly drop my smile and sip the drink before looking down awkwardly.

"Oh I imagine you're wondering how does this is affect you. The answer is: not in the slightest. As long as I get what I want and everyone behaves themselves you can go on living your little lives however you choose. You have my word." He smirks, standing and leaning against the bar.

"What more could you possibly want?" Elena asks her brows furrowed.

"Well for starters, you can tell me where I might find Stefan." At this I look down again and avoid speaking by slowly sipping my drink.

"Stefan skipped town the second he saved your ass." Damon says coldly.

"Well you see that is a shame." Klaus says as he throws a dart and gets a perfect bulls-eye.

"Your brother stole from me. I need him found so I can take back what's mine." Ah there it is. The coffins, the dead siblings yada yada.

"That sounds like a Klaus and Stefan problem." Elena says, making Klaus move towards her but stopping when Damon steps between them.

"Well this is me broadening the scope." He says coldly. The face Elena makes seems like she about to piss herself.

"Just in time! We're cooking!" Elena practically shouts as Jeremy walks in. I sat at the kitchen island, doodling in a book out of boredom.

"Sorry, just passing through." Jeremy says with a shrug.

"Ah, well I thought we would all stay in, have a meal together like a typical, atypical family." Alaric says, nonchalantly as he chops vegetables. I then look up and exchange looks with Jeremy.

His is more of a confused one while mine was meant to silently say "get out."

"Why?" He asks, an eyebrow cocked.

"Maybe because you got fired and you didn't tell anyone." Elena says, putting a hand on her hip. I sigh loudly, already knowing what was gonna go down since Elena dragged me out of the bar.

"Ahh- look, can we do this later? I made plans with Tyler. He's right outside." Jeremy says, awkwardly scratching his neck.

"Oh wait! When did you start hanging out with Tyler Lockwood?" Alaric asks, pausing his chopping.

"I don't know...Does it matter?"

"Yeah, Jeremy! It matters. He was sired by Klaus. He's dangerous." Elena snaps, making me roll my eyes.

"He can still hear you. He is right outside. Besides you of all people are gonna lecture me on who I can and can't hang out with?" He snaps right back making Elena act shocked.

"What is with the attitude?"

"He has a point." I pipe up, receiving a glare from
my older sister.

"Yeah, whatever, this is lame. Tyler is waiting." He says, turning to leave. He is then blocked by Elena.

I guess she really was gonna take it far.

"Oh, no no! You're not going anywhere, especially not with Tyler." She says, crossing her arms. Jeremy then looks to me for help.

"Just let him go Elena." I say with a loud sigh, the brunette only ignores me and continues blocking the way.

"All right, fine. You want me to stay in? Let's all stay in then." He says, before turning and shouting to Tyler. "Yo, Tyler! Come on in!!"

"Jerem-" Elena's scolding is cut off by Tyler walking in.

"Oh god."
