Yokai

"I was worried about that.. thank you Kakashi." She looked beside her and smiled. Kakashis face burned and looked away humming. She chuckles and leaned into him, which made his face burn more. He didn't move because he secretly enjoyed it. He loved that her cold figure was pressed against his hot skin. When her bare skin touches his, it sends a shiver down his spine and he loved it. Nikos face burned but she was feverish. She felt content when she felt Kakashis warmth and slept against the young man.

Once the wound healed, Niko has her strength back to put the barrier back up. Kakashi has to go back on hunt to kill the Yukinba. He has been on this mission far too long and he has started to receive letters from the Hokage from his village. This pained him.

It was a reminder...

He wasn't here to stay.

He wasn't here to be swooned over.

He was head to investigate and kill.

His first mission for gods sake.

Kakashi got up from laying position. He looked behind him to see Niko sleeping on the futon. He gave her a sad expression.

He can't stay here.

Kakashi stood up and walked out of the building where he stayed. He talked to kisha before leaving the temple.

He pushed himself further up the mountain and came across a large cave. He has been searching for the Yukinba for almost the whole day and the moon was now at the highest peak. His ANBU mask tilted with his head as he listened.

THUMP.

THUMP.

THUMP.

The loose stone rattled under his palm and he knew he found her. He pulled out a thin blade and readied it. He moved towards the mouth of the cave. He heard murmurs and it bounced off the cave walls. He got closer to see a flickering light. A small candle in the center of the cave.

"Brave of you to come~" a chuckle echoed and Kakashi swiveled where he stood. The echoes in the cave gave him a hard time to tell him where the yokai was.

"Even after you gave me quite the startle of hacking my arm off boy!" The voice yelled and next thing he knew was pain the sudden came from his leg. He staggers and glances to see claw marks on his calf. A flash came into view and he dodged it but mask broke where he stood. He gained a cut on his cheek under his face mask. The blood soaked the fabric and he quickly lifted his head band and exposed his red eye. He activated it and focused on the yokai.

Fighting it was brutal. The two ended up in bad shape and there was moment where the Yukinba tried to flee but Kakashi prevented it from leaving the cave. He once again landed a kick to the yokai's face, cause her to fall. Kakashi has enough of her running and raised his blade and stabbed her in the leg and thought the rock. The Yukinba screeched as she tried to wiggle loose. The snow hag was weeping and crying out through the pain. She tried to bite Kakashis legs but Kakashi simply kicked her hard in the face.

"Who calls their daughter a worthless piece of trash..?" He asked dangerously. Blood dropped off the yokais lips as she turned their head only to receive another kick and knock a tooth out.
