Nightingale 🎵

I lie awake tonight,

a voice hovering nearby.

Wishing of somethings that I can't change.

I try to convince myself,

But it's all so strange.

Is it me, or is it you?

Did I try, or are we through?

So long we have shared

Just to walk away.

So much pain to want to stay.

Why do we do this,

Hurting the one we love more,

If only to watch one walk away?

I love you so much, yet I've push you for a break-up,
