"Lucas..I don't think I can do this.." Maya's hands tremble as she stood in her spot at the airport, her stomach turning and churning into knots, threatening to throw up any second now

"I will come back, Maya. I'll never leave you. I love you..I love you so damn much" he replied, holding his fiancé tightly in his arms "it's only 6 months, then I'm home, right back to you. I promise i will call, send letters every chance I get" he added, trying his hardest to sound brave

She nodded, wiping the tears from her eyes with her sleeves "you should go. You're gonna miss it" she took a small step back, sucking in a deep breath "you're so brave baby..I'll see you soon.." he leant down, kissing her pink lips one last time

He flashed his friends behind her one last bright white smile before leaving her side, disappearing into the departures lounge. Maya's heart broke in two, sobbing into her best friend Riley's chest as the sight of him grew smaller

"let's go home..everything will be okay.." Riley whispered soothingly to her friend. Maya peeled herself away from her grip, "Riley, I'm going to be sick" she muttered before dashing over to the bathroom, dropping to her knees in the stall

Riley followed in behind her, waiting outside until Maya emerged again, taking a sip of water from her drink bottle "now let's go home" Riley repeated, taking her arm and guiding her back through the airport

The car ride was silent, Riley, Farkle, Zay, Isadora and Maya all unsure of what to say to each other "how are you feeling?" Zay asked the blonde who was sitting beside him

She had her head leant against the window, her eyes dancing over the objects in front of her as the car drive by them "I'm fine.." she muttered under her breath. How was she supposed to feel? Her fiancé had just been sent to another country for the military for 6 months

"Farkle! Pull over!" Maya demanded, clutching her stomach again. He didn't protest, pulling over to the side of the road confused, watching as the blonde leapt out from the car, throwing her guts up for a second time today

"Oh peaches.." Riley sighed, getting out of the passenger seat and helping her friend, rubbing soothing circles into her back "I'm sorry..let's just get hime.." maya mumbled delicately, climbing back into the car

Farkle soon began driving again, finally reaching Maya and Lucas' newly renovated modern home in Texas. The group had moved once they finished high school.

"I'm gonna go with her..can you pick me up in like an hour or two?" Riley asked Farkle. He nodded, giving his girlfriend a kiss goodbye. Riley got Maya inside the house, turning on the warm lamps to create the homely feel maya had always dreamed about

The blonde dragged her feet around the house until she reached the bedroom, kicking off her shoes and pulling back the cover "Nuh Uh, you aren't getting into bed just yet. Why do you think I'm here?" Riley questioned, tugging at her arm

Maya furrowed her eyebrows confused as Riley searched around their bathroom, pulling out a box maya hadn't seen in ages "A pregnancy test, Riley? It's just nerves! My fiancé was literally shipped off to risk his life for 6 months!" She protested

"I don't care. Better safe then sorry, once we see if it's positive or negative, then you can get into bed" Riley hissed, passing the blonde the stick and leaving them alone in the bathroom

After a minute or so, Maya emerged, brushing past her and climbing into the bed "well? That was quick" Riley looked to her confused. Maya shrugged, "I'm not waiting over there. You can read it if your so interested" maya sighed, snuggling herself into the sheets

Riley rolled her eyes, picking up the stick "Maya..it's positive..you're pregnant" she mumbled, her eyes flickering back up to the blonde. She sat up again instantly, "you're lying. I'm not in the mood for games, Riley" she warned

"I'm not kidding Maya..you're going to have a baby.." Riley repeated
