The Rosewood Family

Chapter 1

Italy 2019

In the middle of the night, a young girl was walking through an alleyway. At first glance she seemed okay but on a closer inspection you could see that she was disheveled and bleeding from a few places on her arms and legs. She was sobbing as she started to slow down and fall on the ground. She had started to look around her seeing there was a house near-by with it's lights on. She mustered up enough strength to yell out to who ever was in that house "HELP ME PLEASE." She had screamed out, she was slowly starting to pass out. Before she did she could hear the door open and someone approach her. As she had passed out she had heard them say "it'll be okay my darling."

2 days later

The young girl slowly opened her eyes as she started to wake up. She had slowly started to blink as she slowly tried to sit up. She looked around and saw someone sleeping in the chair beside her bed. She had gently poked the person. The person yawned before sitting up, reveling the person to be a male. He had brown hair and soft blue eyes, he had soft pale skin and a tattoo on her wrist. "ah your awake, good." He said, his voice soft and calm as he took in the girls appearance. At first glance she looked like she lived on the streets with how messy her hair and clothes looked. But upon getting closer to her, he was able to tell that was not the case. She had soft brown hair and hazel eyes. She had very pale skin. "Who are you?" She asked softly, her voice sounding like a melody to him. "My name is Giovanni Silveri, I found you passed out in an alleyway. I took you to the hospital. May I ask what your name is?" he said softly as to not startle or scare the girl. "My name is Anna Rosewood, thank you for helping me" she said as she smiled at him.

"Your welcome darling, would you mind telling me what happened to you?" He asked softly as he pulled out a water bottle and passing it to her. She grabbed the water bottle from him mumbling a thank you before she started to explain what happened. "I was walking home, As I was walking home I passed this group of men. One of them catcalled me and I ignored them. They didn't like that and a couple of them grabbed me... and pushed me down... and one thing lead to another and they didn't stop. I screamed and begged them to but they didn't until they all had a turn." She said softly looking down almost ashamed as she spoke. Giovanna looked at her with pity in his eyes. "I'm so sorry that this has happened to you." He said as he looked at her.

Anna smiled softly as she looked at the man in front of her. "It's not your fault," she said. She looked at the man in front of her. She had noticed a tattoo on the side of his neck, she instantly knew where that tattoo was from. "your apart of the crimson takers" she said softly looking at him. Giovanni looked at the girl shocked that she was able to tell were his tattoo was from. "Yes I am how did you know?" He asked her with a look of confusion on his face as he started to be wary of her. "Before my father passed away he said that the crimson takers rule area we live in. He said that they would protect us" She said as she looked at him. "your father is right. We protect the innocent" Giovanna said as he looked at Anna. Quickly after he said that his phone started ringing, he quickly answered it "Yes boss? I'm at the hospital. There was a girl in need and I took her to the hospital." He said quickly looking at Anna as he spoke on the phone. "I'm with the girl right now, You want to speak with her? Okay let me ask her." he says before turning to look at Anna, "Would you be okay speaking to my boss?" She nodded and Giovanna put them on speaker. "Your on speaker boss."

Giovanna looked at Anna reassuringly as she softly spoke "Hello sir, my name is Anna." The male on the phone said "its a pleasure to meet you Anna, I'm Giovanna's Boss. My name is Adolpho Milano." Anna quickly said "it's a pleasure to meet you sir, How may I help you?" she asked. "Well I would like to know what happened to you" He asked her as she let out a quiet sigh. "I was walking home from work during night, I had to stay and help night shift so when I got out it was quite late. As I was walking home I passed this group of men. One of them catcalled me and I ignored them. They didn't like that and a couple of them grabbed me... and pushed me down... and one thing lead to another and they didn't stop. I screamed and begged them to but they didn't until they all had a turn." Anna had said as she leaned back against the bed as it was at an angle, as Giovanna took them off speaker and started to talk with his boss in Italian.
