Prologue

On the rooftop Jaune were sitting down thinking of his ways of becoming a better leader but it wasn't doing any well as Ren and Pyrrha were thinking if Jaune was really a good choice to be team leader they have their doubts on him and his actions, Nora trying to support her leader is also still feeling a little doubtful for Jaune as he hasn't done anything to proof his position in which they were times he heard discussions of them thinking if they could tell Ozpin to change Jaune position which hurt the Arc a lot

Tem RWBY also have the same thoughts on Jaune although Ruby is trying to support Jaune and believe that there is maybe something about him that is unique or special but her teammates try to convince her otherwise but she tends to ignore it. Although there is still a part of her that believe her teammates were right about it and Jaune were a failure

Jaune: come on Jaune you cannot just be the damsel in distress all the time...I can't expect to be team leader when I all I do is waiting for my friends to get me....ah who am I kidding, I'm a laughing joke

Jaune sigh looking at the moon thinking of home and his arrival of getting here

Jaune: maybe I shouldn't have fake my transcripts to get here, I shouldn't really have use my sister money to make a deal with Mr Xiong

Jaune could remember the first time arriving to Junior's club making a deal with this man to grab hold of some transcript in return two bags of liens

Jaune: I'm sorry Saph but I just want to become a warrior like dad and mom, they always say I never done anything like you but now I'm here and all I want now is just to impress them and realize I could be a worthy son

Jaune still felt the regret of doing this but he tries to forget it and head back to his dorm but then Cardin window were open to which he heard everything

Cardin: wow Jaune I never thought you had the actual balls to do something like that, I'm impressed

Jaune: wait C-Cardin please you must not tell anyone about this!

Cardin: oh Jaune come on I wouldn't tell anyone

Jaune: wait you...you wouldn't?

Cardin: of course although I do need help with a lot of things especially with the homework that Oobleck set us up, do you think you could do that for me?

Jaune: uh well Cardin, I can't really-

Cardin: well looks like I'm going to tell the whole school I guess about your transcript, now wouldn't that be a surprise for your friends to hear I can't wait to-

Jaune: o-okay fine you win! I would do the things you say

Cardin: good see now was that so hard to do, I will see you later buddy

Jaune just got blackmail and now he feels worse that he has now become Cardin's slave. This start to carry on over a few weeks to which many students especially the professors had an idea on what we're going on between Jaune and Cardin out of nowhere friendship but tend to keep out of it to which didn't help Jaune at all but he knew this couldn't have all been avoid if he didn't speak back on the rooftop, however this blackmail will soon stop during the Vytal Festival as Jaune finally had enough of it

Jaune: I'm sorry I can't do this anymore, I'm sorry but I'm not your slave and I just wanna become a leader that my team deserve okay!

Jaune walks away only to have Cardin just laugh

Cardin: oh Jauney you really shouldn't have done that, now you're in real big trouble and the best part is everyone going to hear it

In the Amity Colosseum, Team JNPR and Team BRNZ were entering the arena reading to face on each other
